Is this name too outdated or is it ready for a comeback?

I’ve been looking for baby names as I am currently pregnant (baby #6). I came up with this name combo and I’m really loving it, but I’m worried that it is too outdated. I know that old fashioned names are making a come back though! So what do you think about [name_f]Betty[/name_f] [name_f]Louise[/name_f]?

Totally ready for a comeback. Can you imagine a little [name_f]Betty[/name_f] sooo adorable

Not too outdated. [name_f]Betty[/name_f] is cute, but it is a NN to me. I think [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] [name_f]Louise[/name_f] such much fuller and prettier (or a similar longer name, from which [name_f]Betty[/name_f] can be extracted).

I really like [name_f]Betty[/name_f] [name_f]Louise[/name_f]!

I personally wouldn’t name my kid [name_f]Betty[/name_f] [name_f]Louise[/name_f], but if you want to, go for it.

In theory, it’s adorable. I like [name_f]Betty[/name_f], but I wouldn’t pick it.

[name_f]Betty[/name_f] is cute, definitely outdated but for the right child it could absolutely be a fit. Spelling it [name_f]Bettie[/name_f] makes it a little more modern in my opinion.

I’d use [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] and go by [name_f]Betty[/name_f]. People’s first reaction is often that it is dated but when you think about it it is so cute.

I love [name_f]Betty[/name_f]! If you’re unsure, you could use [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f], as others have mentioned. Or, use [name_f]Betsy[/name_f] which is very similar but doesn’t sound as vintage.

I love the combination of [name_f]Betty[/name_f] [name_f]Louise[/name_f]! She sounds so innocent and sweet. Go for it!

I think it’s adorable, but I think I’d pick a longer fn and use [name_f]Betty[/name_f] as a nn. For some reason, [name_f]Bettina[/name_f] [name_f]Louise[/name_f] or [name_f]Elisabetta[/name_f] [name_f]Louise[/name_f] sound good in my head, as alternatives to [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f]. Congrats!
