I really like Story as a first name, I have a thing for word names especially about literature since I am a nut for all of that stuff.
Is Story usable? Talk me into or out of it.
I think itâs definitely useable! There are so many other word names that are in common use today (plant names, place names, occupation names, etc.), so I donât see why [name_u]Story[/name_u] canât work.
I think itâs sweet, and I also love the book/literature connection.
Maybe a little much as a first name, and they didnât like to read, theyâd constantly be hearing about that. But I think it would make a seriously cool middle name.
thank you ! I really like Tori / Tory as a possible nn
I have Poet on my list for middle names !!! Maybe a sibling set with Story and Poet as middles
Not too unusual at all & definitely usable imo! I think itâs a really sweet name
thank you <33
I think itâs cool and fine as long as the middle name is a more ânormalâ one for them to fall back on if they desire. I wouldnât even see it as a problem if they donât like to read because not all storytelling is written by a long shot. Cultures without a written language seem to do even more storytelling.
love this reply agreed 100&
It could be a MN.
As a FN, I would say not usable. Unless youâre a Hollywood personality, and sheâd be surrounded by peers named [name_f]Apple[/name_f] or [name_u]Blue[/name_u] or [name_u]North[/name_u].
Oh [name_u]Story[/name_u] and [name_u]Poet[/name_u] would be so cute
I personally donât think it is usable, as it is very unusual -if not unheard of- for a name but it is very well known as a word.
It doesnât sound outlandish to me. Word names are âinâ anyway so it isnât odd!
I adore [name_u]Story[/name_u]. I think itâs perfectly usable!
I think itâs usable, there are far more unusual word names and I think [name_u]Story[/name_u] is really pretty. If you felt it was too unusual, you could always go for [name_f]Astoria[/name_f] nn [name_u]Story[/name_u]
I really like [name_u]Story[/name_u] ! I think it totally works as a full/ given name , middle name or even a nickname and I can see it as unisex too.
[name_u]Story[/name_u] has old Norse and [name_f]English[/name_f] roots and I think has grown in popularity since the 90âs.
Names like
[name_f]Astoria[/name_f]
Ceastor
[name_u]Fable[/name_u]
[name_u]Poet[/name_u]
I think [name_u]Story[/name_u] works! Itâs similiar enough to [name_f]Stella[/name_f] and [name_u]Rory[/name_u] that it feels usable
Itâs definitely usable! I love it. [name_u]Story[/name_u] [name_f]Annabel[/name_f] is on my list!
[name_u]Story[/name_u] is completely usable! if Iâm being fully honest, I wouldnât be too surprised to meet a five or six year old Storyâin fact, Iâd be delighted
personally, though, I do prefer it as a middle, as I do most word names but you do you!
[name_u]Story[/name_u] is super sweet! As an aspiring storyteller I love the sentiment; I would love to find a home for [name_u]Story[/name_u] on my list but just havenât found the right spot yet. I know quite a few seem to love [name_f]Astoria[/name_f] nn Story; which sounds nice, but it just reminds me of the NYC hotel haha. I would love to meet a just [name_u]Story[/name_u]! I remember a [name_u]Berry[/name_u] had [name_u]Story[/name_u] [name_f]Anneliese[/name_f] on her list a while back; I think thatâs super sweet!
