Story has old Norse and English roots and I think has grown in popularity since the 90’s.

I also love this recognition to the name thank you for bringing up that point. my sisters name has Nordic origin!!
Also I love Fable as a mn and same for Poet, Poet’s on my uc! Maybe a possible sibling set

I don’t think it’s too unusual. It’s a pretty word with a nice meaning. It’s not my style, but I think it’s usable.

A few years ago this one was of nameberry’s favorite names. You heard people talk about it all the time. So to me it doesn’t seem too weird (of course I am a fan of word names so I might be slightly biased)
