Is this name too weird?

I love it as a nickname for [name_f]Colette[/name_f]. It’s perhaps worth noting that it was a nickname for [name_f]Coco[/name_f] [name_f]Chanel[/name_f] (whose legal first name was [name_f]Gabrielle[/name_f]).

However, names that were once nicknames are on the rise. [name_f]Coco[/name_f] makes me think of (nick)names like [name_f]Kiki[/name_f], [name_f]Mimi[/name_f], or [name_f]Lulu[/name_f]. In my case I love all these as nicknames but would give a more formal legal name. But I think all have been used as “full” first names, too.

Definitely not too weird! I actually know a little girl called [name_f]Coco[/name_f], and she’s just the sweetest thing.

I feel like it’s too cutesy as a full name. I’m sure the right teenager or adult could pull the name off beautifully, but personally I wouldn’t want it to be my full name.

It would make cute nickname, but I really couldn’t see it as a first name because of how cutesy it sounds. Some people have suggested [name_f]Colette[/name_f]/[name_f]Cosette[/name_f] and [name_f]Coco[/name_f] for short, which I absolutely love. Other names would work too.

I like [name_f]Coco[/name_f], but would probably use it as a nickname only.

I love it, but then again, I have one of those trendy two-syllable names myself. It reminds me of [name_f]Chanel[/name_f] and Pixar
