Is this okay?

Hello Berries

I’ve found two name that i like but they are Scandinavian and Scottish which i’m not. Which the names are [name_f]Elka[/name_f] And [name_f]Ferelith[/name_f], I don’t want to offend anyone if i ever use these names. So are these usable or no?

I am not an expert but I believe they would be ok to use. I love [name_f]Ferelith[/name_f]!

it might be a bit strange, but not offensive

They are fine. The name police hopefully won’t ooze you with PC slime.

Not offensive at all!

Note: I’m Scandinavian (Iceland, if you count that…) with some Scottish heritage.

You probably won’t get a lot of problems using Scottish or Scandinavian names (I have both direct Scandinavian and Scottish heritage - Scandinavian is just two generations back! - and I think a lot of those names are used and reused), especially ones that (like those) are easy to pronounce correctly and even spell to a certain degree. And I think those ones could definitely work!

I think it’s fine to use

I think they are totally fine to use  (I am Scottish for reference, but I can’t speak for Scandinavia)

im scottish and i think it’s fine !!
[name_f]Ferelith[/name_f] is a lovely name and it’s great to see the wider world appreciate it imo!

Yep.

They’re both lovely names. I think it’s perfectly fine. I don’t see why it would be offensive. I really can’t see a Scottish or Scandinavian person being offended if someone living in another country chose a Scottish/Scandinavian name.
