I’ve found two name that i like but they are Scandinavian and Scottish which i’m not. Which the names are [name_f]Elka[/name_f] And [name_f]Ferelith[/name_f], I don’t want to offend anyone if i ever use these names. So are these usable or no?
You probably won’t get a lot of problems using Scottish or Scandinavian names (I have both direct Scandinavian and Scottish heritage - Scandinavian is just two generations back! - and I think a lot of those names are used and reused), especially ones that (like those) are easy to pronounce correctly and even spell to a certain degree. And I think those ones could definitely work!
They’re both lovely names. I think it’s perfectly fine. I don’t see why it would be offensive. I really can’t see a Scottish or Scandinavian person being offended if someone living in another country chose a Scottish/Scandinavian name.
