Is this sibset too close?

hypothetical sibling set here *

I’ve got [name_f]Louetta[/name_f] [name_f]Omorose[/name_f] & [name_f]Anina[/name_f] [name_f]Roselani[/name_f] that I’m thinking about. If this was real I’d wind up calling them [name_f]Etta[/name_f] and [name_f]Anina[/name_f] the majority of the time. [name_f]My[/name_f] question: the middle names both contain ‘rose’ even though they have different origins.

Are [name_f]Omorose[/name_f] and [name_f]Roselani[/name_f] too close to have as the respective middle name for 2 siblings?

No! I think it’s fine since they have different origins and not too close sound-wise either.

I think for twins it’s great. For siblings you might be setting up the precedent of people expecting you to continue the rose theme.

i think it’s fine, to be honest! if they were first names it might matter a bit more, but since they’re middles, you’re definitely safe.

i think it’s fine as they’re only middle names. realistically, outside of close family, most people aren’t going to know both of their middle names anyway so it won’t matter.

I think it’s fine -kind of like a tie between them. If you added another sister though, it might be tempting to use another [name_f]Rose[/name_f] name though

i don’t think they’re too close at all. in fact, the connection is kind of cute!

I actually love it!

I think the “rose” in both ties these sisters together, although i think it would be less obvious if they were twins and not just siblings…

[name_f]Etta[/name_f] + [name_f]Nina[/name_f] is so cute to me :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:
