[name_m]Hi[/name_m] ladies! Another baby in the way! This is our 4th and first time to be surprised. We’ve got the boy names picked out, but I’d love your insight for a girl name…
We will be using [name_f]Hope[/name_f] as a middle and that is set.
The problem is…I love [name_f]Posey[/name_f] & I love Belle!! [name_f]Posey[/name_f] carries meaning for us and and [name_f]Belle[/name_f] is my great grandmothers name.
Is [name_f]Posey[/name_f] [name_f]Belle[/name_f] [name_f]Hope[/name_f] too much? We could call her [name_f]Posey[/name_f] [name_f]Belle[/name_f]. I know most people don’t know the middle so I shouldn’t stress, but I am just second guessing that many names — especially one syllable ones close together!
Not too much at all especially since they have so many personal meanings for you.
As far as the flow I think it’s fine, again because meaning trumps flow in my opinion. It does seem a bit wordy but all the names are lovely.
If you are looking for suggestions [name_f]Posey[/name_f] [name_f]Isabelle[/name_f] [name_f]Hope[/name_f] breaks it up a bit. [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] [name_f]Isabelle[/name_f] [name_f]Hope[/name_f] nn [name_f]Posey[/name_f] [name_f]Belle[/name_f] would be darling.
I don’t think it’s too much since all names are really important to you! They’re beautiful names, both individually and as a combo.
As the previous poster suggested, I love the idea of a longer “belle” name as this would still honor your grandmother, but it could ground the name a bit more.
Maybe something like… [name_f]Mirabelle[/name_f], [name_f]Annabelle[/name_f], [name_f]Amabel[/name_f], or [name_f]Arabella[/name_f]. However, if the original combo is what your heart is set on, then I say go for it! Nothing wrong with two middles in my eyes
[name_f]Posey[/name_f] & [name_f]Belle[/name_f] are both gorgeous! I absolutely adore [name_f]Hope[/name_f]. Both [name_f]Belle[/name_f] & [name_f]Hope[/name_f] are my favourites of mine.
I honestly don’t think [name_f]Posey[/name_f] [name_f]Belle[/name_f] [name_f]Hope[/name_f] is too much she’s very sweet, packed full of sentiment and has a fun southern flair. You could break the names up a little by going [name_f]Isabelle[/name_f], [name_f]Annabelle[/name_f], [name_f]Christabel[/name_f] or [name_f]Mirabelle[/name_f]. [name_f]Posey[/name_f] [name_f]Isabelle[/name_f] [name_f]Hope[/name_f] & [name_f]Posey[/name_f] [name_f]Annabelle[/name_f] [name_f]Hope[/name_f] sound absolutely gorgeous. However if you decided to go with [name_f]Posey[/name_f] [name_f]Belle[/name_f] [name_f]Hope[/name_f] I think she’s lovely works well. [name_m]Just[/name_m] use the name you love.
While I’m not a fan of [name_f]Belle[/name_f] or [name_f]Hope[/name_f] typically, I actually love [name_f]Posey[/name_f] [name_f]Belle[/name_f] [name_f]Hope[/name_f]! I think it flows well and first name [name_f]Posey[/name_f] adds a new flair on classics [name_f]Belle[/name_f] and [name_f]Hope[/name_f]. This name sounds fresh and fun even though the middles are typically “fillers” which is hard to do.
I don’t think it’s too much, especially if you plan to call her by both [name_f]Posey[/name_f] and [name_f]Belle[/name_f] together. I’m reading it as a double first name with middle name [name_f]Hope[/name_f] and that seems to do the trick of breaking up the single syllable names!
I don’t think it’s too much… it’s only 4 syllables. I do find the flow a tad off. But feel a longer name for [name_f]Belle[/name_f], as others have suggested, could really improve that. [name_u]Or[/name_u] possibly have a longer name for [name_f]Posey[/name_f] that could be shortened to [name_f]Posey[/name_f] as a nickname. At the end of the day each of these names carries significance so if [name_f]Posey[/name_f] [name_f]Belle[/name_f] [name_f]Hope[/name_f] is what sounds best for you then go with that!
You guys are the best!! I am grinning reading these, as I wasn’t sure how it would be received.
I like [name_f]Mabel[/name_f], [name_f]Annabelle[/name_f] (hubby isn’t on board!), and I do like [name_f]Isabelle[/name_f] though I find Isabelle/Isabella too common for our tastes.
I have considered [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] as a first, but truth is we’d not ever call her by it, so I almost feel like it would be a hassle for her to be named it on paper.
I look forward to coming back this summer and letting you all know if it’s a boy or girl as well as the name we pick!
[name_f]Posey[/name_f] [name_f]Belle[/name_f] [name_f]Hope[/name_f] is seriously adorable! I absolutely LOVE [name_f]Posey[/name_f] [name_f]Belle[/name_f]! Not too much, these are pretty short names. I think this name is cute, yes, but all the names would also work in a grown up world. I think this name would grow with her wonderfully.
