Is Trevor too dated?

What are your thoughts?

To me personally I don’t really consider it dated. I think it’s more of one of those names you just don’t hear as much anymore so i feel it fits in but also stands out. Then again I don’t know any children or adults with this name nor did I go to school with any. I also think it depends where you’re from. I posted a similar question about this name some time ago and those who were from the U.K. thought it was dated and those from the US mostly thought it was fine. For what it’s worth I think [name_m]Trevor[/name_m] is a great name and wouldn’t get any weird reactions. You would think its ending in -r and having a V sound would make it quite popular. I think it fits in nicely with current names and is a nice change from all the Aidens and Coopers I come across

I do not think [name_m]Trevor[/name_m] is dated.

Definitely not. Most of the boys I know named [name_m]Trevor[/name_m] are my age or younger.

I don’t think [name_m]Trevor[/name_m] is dated, but I also don’t know that [name_m]Trevor[/name_m] has ever been that popular in the US.

Not in [name_f]Canada[/name_f]. I feel like it’s one of those names thats always kind of flown under the radar. I’m considering it for myself and have some combos with it on my long list. The village of [name_m]Trevor[/name_m] in [name_m]Wales[/name_m] is lovely… I have really nice association with it

I don’t think it’s dated, just not heard all that often. I think [name_m]Trevor[/name_m] is a great name!

I’m from the UK. To me, [name_m]Trevor[/name_m] does sound dated. I dont know anyone my age or younger named [name_m]Trevor[/name_m], it was a dad name when I was a kid. But think it depends on where in the world you live.

I knew a [name_m]Trevor[/name_m] in school who was a popular and nice guy (in his 30s now) and I know a kid around 12 now with the name who is athletic and a great kid. Only positive associations and I really like the name. I don’t think it’s dated at all.

It reminds me of the '90s a little bit (maybe becasue of the character on The Fresh [name_m]Prince[/name_m] of [name_f]Bel[/name_f]-[name_f]Air[/name_f]) but it was never super popular so it doesn’t have a distinct timestamp like some names have. I think a baby named [name_m]Trevor[/name_m] would sound quite refreshing nowadays.
