Which do you prefer: [name_f]Isabel[/name_f] or [name_f]Ines[/name_f] (no spelling alterations, please)?

I prefer Isabelle spelling but not by much. Don’t really like Isobel. Not very feminine looking lol 
Also people would not pronounce it the same here.

I adore [name_f]Isabel[/name_f]. [name_f]Isabel[/name_f] is actually my preferred spelling, but I love [name_f]Isobel[/name_f], too.

If I could change the spellings, it would be [name_f]Isobel[/name_f] and [name_f]Inez[/name_f]

I like both, but [name_f]Ines[/name_f] feels a little brighter and stronger to me at this point. I really like both of these spellings, but my favorites are probably [name_f]Isobel[/name_f] (though it makes me want to pronounce the O) and [name_f]Inez[/name_f].
[name_f]Isabel[/name_f] is my favourite.
She’s a sweet, delicate classic and I really like the nickname [name_u]Izzy[/name_u]. [name_m]Even[/name_m] if I was to spell [name_f]Ines[/name_f] with my preferred spelling [name_f]Inez[/name_f] my favourite would be [name_f]Isabel[/name_f]. She’s lovely.

i’m from portugal and know at least 10 girls named ines
while i know only 3 isabel and 2 with the middle name isabel
so i would say isabel is my favorite because lately ive been feeling sick of so many ines that they have to go by their last name mostly
and i actually know a girl called [name_f]Ines[/name_f] [name_f]Isabel[/name_f]

[name_f]Ines[/name_f] is beautiful!! I have known way to many Isabel’s for one lifetime. (I’m in the [name_u]Southern[/name_u] US)
M middles names are my favorites in general, but with [name_f]Ines[/name_f] in particular they sound extravagant

LOVE [name_f]Isabel[/name_f]! All time favourite if mine. It’s gorgeous, feminine, and timeless. [name_f]Isabel[/name_f] is definitely my favourite spelling.
I also like [name_f]Ines[/name_f]. But I don’t find it as pretty, and worry about pronunciation issues. HTH.

I have to say [name_f]Isabel[/name_f] because I have so many negative associations with [name_f]Ines[/name_f]. Personal, because all the Iineses (the Finnish spelling) I have ever met were unpleasant and snooty. Iines was a big name in the 90s and 00s in Finland so it also feels very dated to me. Then, something others might understand as well is that it reminds me of sneezing in more than one way. It has same sounds with the word 'sneeze’and ‘kleenex’ (well [name_f]Inez[/name_f] has more but [name_f]Ines[/name_f] too). The final nail to the coffin is that it has the same structure as anus but to be fair that is not at all obvious to most people. I don’t want to slander, [name_f]Ines[/name_f] just has multiple issues for me. It’s still usable if you love it.
[name_f]Isabel[/name_f] is pretty and versatile

Ines. I’m so over Isabel and all it’s variants and most -bel / -bella names in general with a couple of exceptions, but I’m very much in the minority with this I think.
I’d change the spelling to Inez.

I love [name_f]Ines[/name_f] and [name_f]Isabel[/name_f] . [name_f]Isabel[/name_f] has some significance to us , as we were married in a park with this in its name. But the popularity is so high , so I would pick [name_f]Ines[/name_f] ! No change in spelling because it’s so gorgeous!!
