Isabel Vs. Olivia Vs. Anastasia

Which is your favorite and why?

[name_f]Isabel[/name_f]! Timelessly beautiful and feminine, but not over the top. I love it, especially with nn ā€œIzzyā€. :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

[name_f]Isabel[/name_f] - my favourite, elegant, princessy but not too sugary, has a spark, also love [name_f]Isobel[/name_f]
[name_f]Anastasia[/name_f] - beautiful classic, timeless, canā€™t go wrong with it really
[name_f]Olivia[/name_f] - another classic, though never was a fan of this name, simple [name_f]Liv[/name_f] has more personality to me

Hmm

[name_f]Isabel[/name_f] - sheā€™s a pretty delicate classic with a lovely sweet sound that is very timeless. I like the nicknames [name_u]Izzy[/name_u] & [name_f]Belle[/name_f]. Itā€™s a pretty name!

[name_f]Olivia[/name_f] ~ personally prefer [name_f]Olive[/name_f] which I think has a prettier fresher sound whereas concerning [name_f]Olivia[/name_f] Iā€™m not really a fan. [name_f]Olivia[/name_f] sound wise doesnā€™t feel that pretty I think the strong ā€˜vā€™ rolls into the ā€˜aā€™ which Iā€™m not a fan off. Also sheā€™s just so popular that the name is kinda tiresome. Iā€™m just not a [name_f]Olivia[/name_f] girl prefer [name_f]Olive[/name_f].

[name_f]Anastasia[/name_f] ~ this name feels brave, strong and has a majestic flair. Sheā€™s relatively rare despite being a well known name which is great and she has a range of beautiful nicknames. [name_f]Lovely[/name_f] name.

Itā€™s a hard one between [name_f]Isabel[/name_f] & [name_f]Anastasia[/name_f] but I think I prefer [name_f]Isabel[/name_f] just because sheā€™s so classy and delicate.

Anastasia is my favorite! She feels timeless and beautiful and I love the lacey imagery that it brings about. I donā€™t have a preference with either pronunciation!

I love and prefer Isabella to Isabel because Isabella sounds fuller, itā€™s also the name we use in Spanish. However, both Isabel and Isabella feel way over done. Plenty of people I know have little ones named Isabel & Isabella.

Olivia isnā€™t really my style, I donā€™t like the ā€œOliā€ part, but I do like the ā€œviaā€ sound lol. I canā€™t understand how this name has been in the Top 10 for so long! I can see this name being in the top 50 or 100, but #1 name just baffles me.

[name_f]Anastasia[/name_f] is my favourite because I think it sounds very beautiful.

[name_f]Isabel[/name_f] is so pretty, but so is [name_f]Olivia[/name_f]!

[name_f]Olivia[/name_f] gets my vote!

olivia ! :sparkling_heart: i love the feel of it, and the sound of it, and it has significance to me.

I love the flair of [name_f]Anastasia[/name_f]!

[name_f]Anastasia[/name_f] because it means resurrection and it was the name of the famous princess of [name_f]Russia[/name_f] who was such a beautiful child.

I love [name_f]Anastasia[/name_f] and had it on my list for my last two daughters. [name_f]My[/name_f] husband said no to it though, and we picked other names.

[name_f]Isabel[/name_f] is beautiful, but [name_f]Isabella[/name_f] is really common where I live. [name_f]My[/name_f] husbandā€™s sister is [name_f]Isabel[/name_f] so we couldnā€™t have used it anyways.

[name_f]Olivia[/name_f] is nice too, but too popular for me.

[name_f]Anastasia[/name_f], itā€™s a name that isnā€™t so common, but not unheard of, easy to pronounce (even though it can be pronounce in two different ways) and has many nns that can fit with many trends; Ana/Anna, [name_u]Anne[/name_u], [name_f]Stasia[/name_f], and [name_u]Stacy[/name_u]. [name_f]My[/name_f] second choice would be [name_f]Isabel[/name_f].

[name_f]My[/name_f] favorite is [name_f]Olivia[/name_f]! Itā€™s perfectly elegant and sweet.

I think [name_f]Anastasia[/name_f] is a lot more beautiful and unique compared to [name_f]Isabel[/name_f] and [name_f]Olivia[/name_f]

[name_f]Anastasia[/name_f] reminds me too much of the evil step sisters from cinderella so that is a no from me. [name_f]Olivia[/name_f] I think is too popular so my vote goes to [name_f]Isabel[/name_f]. I think it is sweet on a baby, cute in a toddler, cool on a teenager and perfect for an adult. I would go for [name_f]Isabel[/name_f]

Letā€™s seeā€¦ In order of favorite to least favorite, Iā€™d say:

[name_f]Olivia[/name_f]: I can see why [name_f]Olivia[/name_f] is so widely loved! Elegant, pretty, yet still down-to-earth, fun, and energetic. To me, [name_f]Olivia[/name_f] sounds like a girl who would be artistic in some way. I know only one though. The only downside I can see is the potential to lose some shine because of popularity. Itā€™s different for everyone though, my name is just as popular, and Iā€™ve always loved it.

[name_f]Anastasia[/name_f]: This is a beautiful, flowing name, but I donā€™t know if I can imagine actually being an [name_f]Anastasia[/name_f], day to day. Iā€™m sure Iā€™d get used to it if I heard it all the time, but it just seems like a lot of name. Gorgeous sound and great meaning though! And I love [name_f]Annie[/name_f]!

[name_f]Isabel[/name_f]: Itā€™s pretty, but for some reason, Iā€™ve never been much of a fan. The ā€œbel/belleā€ names have always struck me as too sugary sweet. Clearly, Iā€™m in the minority, though. Itā€™s a perfectly good, respectable name.

[name_f]Anastasia[/name_f] is very striking and interesting, I find the other two to be rather tired.

The title of the thread is my order of preference.

I really like the no fuss feel of Isabel/Isobel, even though it still feels quite feminine and substantial. I think it would fit most personality types.

[name_f]Olivia[/name_f] is also a favourite. Iā€™m in Australia where itā€™s ranked at #1 for popularity, but thereā€™s obviously a reason for this.

[name_f]Anastasia[/name_f] feels like so much name. It also feels as though it should only be used in certain cultural circles. I donā€™t know. Itā€™s just not a named I would bother with.
