Is [name]Isabelle[/name] to close to [name]Ella[/name]?? What do you think?
We would use [name]Izzy[/name] as a nickname…
I like the suggestion of using it as a middle. It’s a bit like [name]Ella[/name]'s name is inside [name]Isabelle[/name]'s, like [name]Isabelle[/name] is just a longer version of [name]Ella[/name]. I wouldn’t use it as a first
I do think they are too close. If you like [name]Izzy[/name] how about [name]Isadora[/name] nn [name]Izzy[/name]?

It pains me to say it, but I agree, [name]Ella[/name] and [name]Isabelle[/name] are too close to use together. 
I wish it weren’t so, because I would love to have the option of using [name]Ella[/name] for a future daughter after [name]Isabelle[/name] (if I ever get to use [name]Isabelle[/name], that is!). It took me several months to realize how close [name]Isabelle[/name] and [name]Ella[/name] were when I added [name]Ella[/name] to my list years ago… and I’ve been crushed ever since! I’ve considered using [name]Isabelle[/name] nn [name]Ella[/name], and I’m not opposed to it, as a way to get to keep both, but I don’t know, I feel like I like [name]Bella[/name] and [name]Izzy[/name] as options for [name]Isabelle[/name] much more than [name]Ella[/name]. I think the nn [name]Izzy[/name] does help, though–at least it isn’t [name]Bella[/name] and [name]Ella[/name], which is what I was so tempted to do, haha.
I was going to say the same thing. I do think [name]Izzy[/name] & [name]Ella[/name] is cute!
[name]Izzy[/name] and [name]Ella[/name] is a cute combo, but I agree with everyone else that [name]Isabelle[/name] and [name]Ella[/name] are too close.

It may sound odd, but not only do I think [name]Ella[/name] and [name]Isabelle[/name] sound too close, but I think they are stylistically different. [name]Ella[/name] has a vintage, jazzy feel to me, while [name]Isabelle[/name] is frilly and trendy. I love the suggestion of [name]Ella[/name] and [name]Isadora[/name], though.
I do think they are too close, and I like the suggestion of [name]Isadora[/name] as well. [name]Isabeau[/name] would be another option maybe?
We thought they were too close as well, but on our poll we had [name]Isabelle[/name] as an option and it was the highest pick!! We had our other names listed as well…
