Which spelling do you prefer? I’m an [name_f]Isidora[/name_f] supporter, myself.

I prefer [name_f]Isadora[/name_f] because it allows for the nn [name_u]Isa[/name_u] and [name_u]Issy[/name_u] as opposed to isidora that doesn’t really work with [name_u]Isa[/name_u] :))

[name_f]Isadora[/name_f] for a girl, although I love the [name_m]Isidore[/name_m] spelling for a boy! [name_f]Isidora[/name_f] could definitely grow on me though…

I think [name_f]Isidora[/name_f] is more cutesy, but not in a bad way. [name_f]Isadora[/name_f] feels slightly stronger to me. They are both so pretty; I’m not sure which one I like better.

I like [name_f]Isadora[/name_f]. It’s more aesthetically pleasing to me, and I like the ‘adora’ in there. Also although it’s not a huge difference at all, I prefer saying ‘Iz-uh’ with [name_f]Isadora[/name_f] as opposed to ‘Iz-ih’ with [name_f]Isidora[/name_f]. Oddly enough I prefer the [name_m]Isidore[/name_m] spelling for a boy.

What about Isodora? I’m not really a fan of [name_f]Isidora[/name_f]. I don’t really like the difference in letter width if that doesn’t make me sound insane or really, really pedantic. I don’t like how there are two really short letters and one medium one in the first half and then the second half has three long ones and one medium. Out of the three I’d say [name_f]Isadora[/name_f] or Isodora. Although it does kind of remind me of the word isotopes.

Also team Isidora! It’s the feminization of Isidore and means “gift of Isis” so the Isi- spelling just makes the most sense to me. It’s also technically the older latinization of the name between the two and I tend to lean in favor of older/less etymologically removed spellings for names in general. I also don’t love how much Isadora looks like Isabella.

[name_u]Isa[/name_u] still makes sense with [name_f]Isidora[/name_f] because the long form of the name still ends in -a. I don’t think it’s any less intuitive based on the spelling differences in this case.
