Isidora or Isadora?

Not having a baby, just trying to figure out what spelling is better. Which do you guys prefer?

[name_f]Isadora[/name_f] looks more complete, more appealing to me

I don’t think of them as different spellings really, I pronounce them completely differently! I say [name_f]Isadora[/name_f] like ee-zah-do-ra, and [name_f]Isidora[/name_f] as ee-see-do-rah! I like the sound of [name_f]Isidora[/name_f] more.

I don’t think one of them is better than the other but they do have different vibes. (Also, many people who speak English as a second language will pronounce them differently too.)

To me Isadora is more Anglicised/American. It brings to mind Isadora Duncan.

Isidora is more Classical/European. It reflects the root of the name in Egyptian mythology better. It is also an early saint’s name.
