I think both names are wonderful. I’m surprised that they’re both getting pretty popular. [name]Isla[/name] is quite slinky unusual, while [name]Violet[/name] is more direct and fiercely girly. I personally wouldn’t combine them, because of the strong rhymeyness - [name]Violet[/name] kind of contains the [name]Isla[/name] sound. [name]Say[/name] it fast and it’s I love eyelet. But if you love the name don’t let me dissuade you. I doubt pronunciation would be a problem.

I have an [name]Isla[/name] and people often mispronounce her name initially but once I correct them it isn’t a problem. So, no, I don’t think it will be a problem for you.
