Issue or Not?

I have always loved the name [name_f]Georgia[/name_f] for a girl, but when I got married, my last name changed to that of a city (in [name_f]Florida[/name_f]). So, for the last few years, I’ve begrudgingly tried to let go of [name_f]Georgia[/name_f] because I thought it would be a little weird with my last name. For what it’s worth, DH is Italian and I think [name_f]Georgia[/name_f] nods to that heritage. Also, I grew up in the American South, so [name_f]Georgia[/name_f] feels homey to me.

But, now I’m wondering if it really is an issue or if I’m overthinking it. [name_f]Do[/name_f] you think that the name [name_f]Georgia[/name_f] 0rl@and0 comes off a little hokey or corny? Could it be usable?

Help!

I think [name_f]Georgia[/name_f] is such a classic and also a well used name that I don’t think it would be too much of a problem

I think it’s fine, since [name_m]Orlando[/name_m] isn’t in [name_f]Georgia[/name_f]. It’s a little funny that it’s two place names, but I don’t think I’d let it stop me from using it if I really loved it…

[name_m]Orlando[/name_m] is a known surname and [name_f]Georgia[/name_f] is an established name so I do not think it’s an issue.

If it’s like [name_m]New[/name_m] [name_u]Jersey[/name_u] or [name_u]Texas[/name_u] 0rland0 it’ll be an issue, but [name_f]Georgia[/name_f] is an established name on its own, so I don’t see any problem. It’s lovely.

I don’t think it’s an issue, because as other have stated [name_f]Georgia[/name_f] is such an established name so you don’t think it as a place when you hear it but as a name. It would be super weird if it was [name_u]Texas[/name_u] 0rl@nd0 as pp said, but with [name_f]Georgia[/name_f] it wouldn’t be like that

I think it’s fine. If anything, the fact that it would be two place names kinda makes it more memorable.

I think they work fine together!
