It feels amazing to be a mum!

[name_f]Elsie[/name_f] [name_f]Lillian[/name_f] arrived in the world on the 1st of [name_f]September[/name_f], 11 days past her due date. It was an agonizing long wait but she was worth it! The first day of [name_f]Spring[/name_f] definitely brought new life for our family.

I fell in love with the name [name_f]Elsie[/name_f] long before I was pregnant and I couldn’t find any names I liked more. When she was placed in my arms after a 20 hour labour, I knew, she was definitely an [name_f]Elsie[/name_f]. [name_f]Lillian[/name_f] was named after her Great great grandma and my family loved the tribute.

Also turns out DH’s side of the family has 2 [name_f]Elsie[/name_f]'s so she’s the third [name_f]Elsie[/name_f] [name_u]Britton[/name_u], which I think is pretty darn cool.

What was I doing before I became a mum??! :slight_smile:
