Due date is [name_u]Valentine[/name_u]’s [name_u]Day[/name_u] ”
I swear, this baby is never going to have a name!! My husband has a very specific naming style and will only consider girl names that are “soft, feminine, and classic” ([name_f]Hannah[/name_f], [name_f]Emma[/name_f], [name_f]Sarah[/name_f], etc). He gets to choose the middle name this time, and it will either be [name_f]Joy[/name_f], [name_f]Rose[/name_f], or [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f]/[name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] (all family names). The only other name he has offered up for consideration is Daisy…
My sister says we should just go with [name_f]Hannah[/name_f] [name_f]Joy[/name_f] and be done with it, and as lovely as [name_f]Hannah[/name_f] is, I want my daughter to have a name that is uniquely hers (and doesn’t belong to at least 14 other girls I know personally).
My criteria is: not in the top 100 in popularity, easy to say/spell (our last name is tricky), has a nice meaning (or at least not a negative meaning), flows well with our last name, and doesn’t clash with our son’s name ([name_m]Simon[/name_m]).
I’ve been trying to find names that fit both of our criteria, but it’s tough!
So far, I have [name_f]Zara[/name_f], [name_f]Martha[/name_f], [name_f]Mila[/name_f], [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f], and [name_f]Marlaina[/name_f].
We’ve already vetoed SO many names for various reasons, and I just cannot seem to find something that we both like that fits our criteria. Help!!!
I love [name_m]Simon[/name_m]! I think [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] would make a smashing sister, but here are some more ideas:
[name_f]Pauline[/name_f]
[name_f]Lilia[/name_f]
[name_f]Olga[/name_f]
[name_f]Bryony[/name_f]
[name_f]Lisette[/name_f]
[name_f]Liesl[/name_f]
[name_f]Valentina[/name_f]
[name_f]Freya[/name_f]
[name_f]Frida[/name_f]
[name_f]Louisa[/name_f]
[name_f]Vera[/name_f]
[name_f]Tatiana[/name_f]
[name_f]Diana[/name_f]
[name_f]Holly[/name_f]
[name_f]Iris[/name_f]
[name_f]Ziva[/name_f]
[name_f]Frances[/name_f]
[name_f]Una[/name_f]
[name_u]Romy[/name_u]
I like [name_f]Mila[/name_f] and [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f]. A few suggestions I have are: [name_f]Evie[/name_f]- meaning lively, [name_f]Ayla[/name_f]- meaning halo of light around the moon, or [name_f]Alma[/name_f]- meaning kind and loving.
Best wishes to you and your family:)

I would love [name_f]Martha[/name_f] with [name_m]Simon[/name_m]! [name_f]Martha[/name_f] [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] would be gorgeous. I would further suggest:
I love love love [name_f]Mila[/name_f]. It’s what we’d call a second daughter (if we are so lucky to have girl babies of course). [name_f]Mila[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] is so classy but I kind of like [name_f]Mila[/name_f] [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] just because it’s longer and I think flows better. [name_f]Mila[/name_f] [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] might also work.
[name_f]Mila[/name_f] [name_f]Violet[/name_f]
[name_f]Mila[/name_f] [name_f]Carys[/name_f]
[name_f]Mila[/name_f] [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f]
[name_f]Mila[/name_f] [name_u]Winter[/name_u]
[name_f]Mila[/name_f] [name_f]Valentina[/name_f]
[name_f]Mila[/name_f] [name_f]Pearl[/name_f]
I’d go for [name_f]Martha[/name_f] or [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] (nn [name_u]Romy[/name_u]) as firsts!
[name_f]Martha[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f]/ [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] depending on last name
[name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] [name_f]Joy[/name_f] (or maybe a non-word name after [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f], like [name_f]Kate[/name_f] or [name_f]Catherine[/name_f])
Or [name_m]Simon[/name_m] and…
[name_f]Amelie[/name_f] [name_f]Joy[/name_f] / [name_f]Amelia[/name_f] [name_f]Joy[/name_f]
[name_f]Zara[/name_f] [name_f]Daisy[/name_f]
[name_f]Seraphina[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f]
[name_f]Sarah[/name_f] [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] ([name_f]Sarah[/name_f] is not common anymore so it’d actually be a fresh, lovely name unless two S names a concern)
I like the suggestions of Holly Joy, Bonnie Rose, Margot Rosalie
