[name_u]Ruby[/name_u] was a longtime front runner for us, and [name_f]Olive[/name_f] was also on the list! We had a boy first but I may add these both back to our shortlist for the future! [name_f]Violet[/name_f] is also very sweet, but I just love [name_u]Ruby[/name_u] and [name_f]Olive[/name_f] most!
FWIW other names we considered were [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f], [name_u]Hazel[/name_u], and [name_f]Nora[/name_f] which I feel like fit the vibe of your list!

Of this list I prefer [name_f]Meadow[/name_f] and [name_u]Ruby[/name_u]. The others are too well-known for me although [name_u]Ruby[/name_u] is now ranked 62 in the US which is too popular for my taste.
I think [name_u]Ruby[/name_u] is classic and sweet without the dated feeling of [name_f]Olive[/name_f] but that’s just my opinion.

[name_f]Violet[/name_f] ~ a lovely sugary sweet name that feels nostalgic and warm. A lovely floral choice with strong colour connotations that are very appealing. [name_f]Violet[/name_f] is great.
[name_f]Olive[/name_f] ~ a pretty peaceful name that has a hipster cool feel. I think [name_f]Olive[/name_f] is a sweet tranquil choice that has tons of understated charm. [name_f]Lovely[/name_f] choice.

Putting [name_u]Ruby[/name_u] aside as it’s your fave, my order for your list is:
[name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] - have loved this name for many years, has [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] (or Lady) as nn option, which I prefer over [name_f]Addie[/name_f], it’s super chic, and will suit all ages (not just under age 5 but right through) and contexts. It’s regal, pretty and commanding.
[name_f]Meadow[/name_f] - a fave girls’ word name of mine, love saying and hearing this name, obv less classic but it’s not an “out there” name - it’s very soothing and understated while also being undeniably cool!
[name_f]Violet[/name_f] - love the “let” part of the name, and [name_f]Vi[/name_f] (pronounced Vy) is a very pretty nickname. It’s a very charming name, with obvious floral connotations.
[name_f]Olive[/name_f] - I want to like this name but it’s a bit trendy (and had its big moment with [name_u]Drew[/name_u] Barrymore calling her kid Olive) and seems to be used a lot in movies as the kid’s name. I also don’t think it’s a great name for all ages - to me it’s either a kids’ name or for a dotty grandmother in the garden. Sorry to be harsh especially online but it’d be my last choice.
As for [name_u]Ruby[/name_u], it’s a very self-assured and attention grabbing name! I think if you’re a [name_u]Ruby[/name_u], you’re presumed fun and positive, unless proven otherwise. It would sit after [name_f]Meadow[/name_f] on this list for me because I’m not an “ie” fan, but I think it’s a great name and you should go for it if it shines brightest!

I am not yet in love with [name_u]Ruby[/name_u] (I just used to watch a soap opera named [name_u]Ruby[/name_u] so I think of them dramatic ladies:sweat_smile:), but I think it’s rather sweet. [name_u]Ruby[/name_u] [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] is absolutely gorgeous!
