[name]Hi[/name] I am trying to decide on a name of Italian, Spanish or Portuguese origin that also can be turned into a short & sweet nickname. Here are a few I’ve come up with - hoping you’ll provide feedback on these and add to the list. Surname it’s to go with is Pinto. Thanks.
[name]Hi[/name]! [name]Sebastian[/name] is my favorite from your list! I think it’s so handsome, and I also like how it sounds with your last name.
I think the other names are really handsome, too, but I just personally love the names without the -o endings (and -to endings) more with your last name. [name]Even[/name] so, I think that loving a name is more important than the flow or ending sounds.
Because a Pinto is also a type of car, I’d just personally avoid first names with car associations, like [name]Romeo[/name] ([name]Alfa[/name] [name]Romeo[/name] is a type of car, so [name]Romeo[/name] Pinto makes me think of two cars, especially if you’ll be pronouncing [name]Romeo[/name] the Italian way), [name]Amato[/name], which contains the sound “auto,” and [name]Macario[/name], which contains “car.” (That’s just me, though.)
I love [name]Francesco[/name] nn Cesco (pronounced as Chesco)
[name]Massimo[/name] nn [name]Max[/name].
[name]Tommaso[/name] nn [name]Tom[/name] or [name]Tommy[/name]
[name]Federico[/name] nn [name]Rico[/name] or [name]Freddy[/name]
[name]Nicolo[/name] nn [name]Nick[/name]
[name]Giacomo[/name] nn [name]Jack[/name]
[name]Matteo[/name] nn [name]Matt[/name]
They’re all Italian. My favourite is [name]Francesco[/name].
