we finally found out that this baby is a boy and we have narrowed our list down to three names each which I love but have some concerns about. We have a DS named [name]Dash[/name] [name]Harrison[/name]. WDYT? Middle name suggestions are welcome - possible mn right now are [name]Andrew[/name], [name]Indiana[/name] or [name]Indigo[/name].
[name]Max[/name]: my concerns, way more common than [name]Dash[/name], share the same A sound, my DH’s favorite. would most likely use a more uncommon middle name, i’m liking [name]Indigo[/name] right now.
[name]Beckett[/name]: my concerns, i have trouble picturing having a DS named this but I still love it and the nickname Becks but I would hate the nickname [name]Becky[/name]…and we call [name]Dash[/name], dashy all the time.
[name]Cruz[/name]: my concerns, is it too much w/ [name]Dash[/name]? it means cross and we have a last name with some strong religious connotations…do you think that will be an issue? this is my #1 pick.
[name]Max[/name]: [name]Max[/name] gets my vote. I would make it a nn for either [name]Maximilian[/name] or [name]Maxwell[/name] though. I think [name]Dash[/name] and [name]Max[/name] fit together the best.
[name]Beckett[/name]: I dont like this one. It reminds me of a fence for some reason and sounds very harsh imo. Maybe [name]Bennett[/name], [name]Everett[/name], or [name]Emmett[/name]?
[name]Cruz[/name]: I really dont like this one with [name]Dash[/name]. [name]Dash[/name] reminds me of fast, and [name]Cruz[/name] is like “cruzin” or driving fast. Plus it is my boyfriends ln, and will likely someday be my own, just with a different spelling. I just dont think it makes a good fn, but thats me.
I think [name]Max[/name] matches the best, yes it is popular. [name]Beckett[/name] looks too much like bucket. There is quit a few [name]Cruz[/name] in my area and i just dont get it you might as well call your sun [name]Jesus[/name] the name has a heavy religious meaning. [name]Max[/name] and dash have my vote.
i have to say i think max probably goes the best with dash, but as your concerns for beckett have to do with the nn becky…would you be tempted to call max… maxi?? not trying to be cheeky, just wanted to throw that out there. i really like all of your names though & think they would all work. have you considered just using “beck”? i think that stays in the same vain as dash, but with a different feel.
and above all, my vote goes for using indigo…i just named my 2 1/2wk old indigo james, so it obviously gets my vote!
[name]Max[/name] [name]Andrew[/name]. I think it is adorable. Im not for different names so [name]Indiana[/name] and [name]Indigo[/name] are to far out for me.
Have you considered [name]Bennett[/name] instead of [name]Beckett[/name]?
[name]Bennett[/name] [name]Andrew[/name] sounds better than [name]Beckett[/name] [name]Andrew[/name] and ben is a more likeable nickname I think…
