I found out today we are expecting a boy. Im a little in shock I admit. I thought it was a boy so assumed I was wrong. I already have one son and two daughters so this one will round out the family I suppose and complete the sandwich with his sisters in the middle. The only problem is my husband and I cant agree on a boy name. My husband is the worst person to name a kid with. He hates 99% of names, wont suggest any names of how own, and in my personal opinion has terrible taste in names. Most of the names we came up with for our other kids are ones I choose and eventually kind of whittled down and almost forced him into.
Ours son is [name_m]Drake[/name_m] [name_m]Jonathan[/name_m] (family middle and same as my husband) and our daughters are [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] and [name_f]Fiona[/name_f] [name_f]Karlie[/name_f] (another family middle on my side).
So far my husband has vetoed [name_m]Brooks[/name_m], [name_m]Jasper[/name_m], [name_m]Asher[/name_m], [name_u]Everett[/name_u], [name_u]Cody[/name_u], [name_m]Dashiell[/name_m], [name_u]Jude[/name_u] and probably more I cant remember now.
He likes [name_u]Rex[/name_u] but I cant get behind it truthfully.
He hasnt out right said no to [name_m]Austin[/name_m] or [name_m]Westley[/name_m] yet but I dont think he loves either.
I like some literary tie to the name if possible but its not necessary at this point if I can just get a name.
We both really like [name_m]Griffin[/name_m] and think it would fit well and work as a great brother to [name_m]Drake[/name_m] but its our cat’s name and the cat is still alive and my kids know the cat’s name and I think it would be too much to name the kid after the cat. I regret using it on the cat now I admit though.
So help us please. I told him last night I hope this isnt a boy because we will never name it and well here we are
What about [name_m]Garrett[/name_m] (kind of a mixture between [name_m]Griffin[/name_m] and [name_u]Everett[/name_u]). Are there any other family men names you might consider?
I admit I also love [name_u]Rex[/name_u]. But you get to veto it if you don’t like it!
