I think [name_m]Quentin[/name_m] sounds like the best fit to go with his siblings. I do like all three options though - particularly [name_m]Felix[/name_m], which is my own favorite boy name.

Congratulations on the little boy!

Congratulations. I adore both [name_m]Felix[/name_m] and [name_m]Quentin[/name_m]. I personally would not use a nickname for either. It is so nice that you will be able to share the gender and name with your dad-in-law.

[name_m]Albert[/name_m] Bluejay! One of the handsomest combos I have seen on NB. Plus: [name_m]Peter[/name_m], [name_f]Sabina[/name_f], [name_f]Dorothy[/name_f], & [name_m]Albert[/name_m] = amazing sibset! [name_m]Just[/name_m] charming all around.

[name_m]Albert[/name_m] or [name_m]Felix[/name_m]! Really had to decide between, both are wonderful!

I like [name_m]Albert[/name_m] best  it fits with the others beautifully!

My fave is [name_m]Quentin[/name_m]. Tintin is just the sweetest.

[name_m]Albert[/name_m] [name_u]Bertie[/name_u] is a sweet nn, I also like [name_m]Albie[/name_m]

I like [name_m]Quentin[/name_m] with siblings, but [name_m]Albert[/name_m] would be my second pick. I love your sibset btw, it just sounds so happy and original! [And [name_f]Hildegarde[/name_f] [name_f]Bluebell[/name_f] is STUNNING!]

Congratulations. I voted for [name_m]Albert[/name_m], as I love it, especially with the [name_u]Bertie[/name_u] nn. [name_u]Bertie[/name_u] was the deciding factor between [name_m]Albert[/name_m] and [name_m]Felix[/name_m] for me, but it’s pretty even, tbh. I hope you choose either [name_u]Bertie[/name_u] or [name_m]Felix[/name_m].

I voted for [name_m]Albert[/name_m] although [name_m]Quentin[/name_m] was a close second as it flows really well with your other children’s names.

Thank you, honey! [name_f]Hildegarde[/name_f] [name_f]Bluebell[/name_f] is a GP of mine, so I appreciate the love!

I love them both too! It’s so, so hard to choose!

I absolutely love [name_m]Felix[/name_m] with [name_m]Peter[/name_m], [name_f]Sabina[/name_f], and [name_f]Dorothy[/name_f]! It just seems so perfect. [name_m]Quentin[/name_m] does, too, but I like [name_m]Felix[/name_m] even more. I’m not hugely keen on [name_m]Albert[/name_m], but both it AND [name_u]Bertie[/name_u] are absolutely perfect with your older three. I don’t think you can go wrong, but [name_m]Felix[/name_m] is my favorite.

I am trying to figure out a ranking of them, but I just can’t decide whether I’d put [name_m]Albert[/name_m] or [name_m]Quentin[/name_m] first! All three names go SO well with your older three.

Good luck! (And sorry to hear about your FIL!)

Congratulations on your baby boy and my sympathies to your family about your FIL :frowning: It’s a really tough time - I lost my grandmother in [name_u]January[/name_u] just days after we announced our pregnancy, and I would have loved to have been able to tell her more about the baby. It will be such a precious gift for your FIL I’m sure.

I think [name_m]Albert[/name_m] “[name_u]Bertie[/name_u]” is perfect with your other children’s names. I really, really love [name_m]Felix[/name_m] but it feels a bit more hipster/trending than your other under-the-radar names. I’m afraid I’m not really a fan of [name_m]Quentin[/name_m] (just can’t get behind Q- names generally), but it does go well.

I love [name_m]Quentin[/name_m] the most but I voted for [name_m]Albert[/name_m] because of the nickname. Tintin is cute but if I’m honest, when I saw your daughters name was [name_f]Dorothy[/name_f], all I could think of was the [name_m]Tin[/name_m] man, but if that’s no a problem for you, go for it

I love [name_m]Albert[/name_m]

I did not vote because I did not want to choose between [name_m]Albert[/name_m] and [name_m]Felix[/name_m]. Both names go so well with your older children’s names. [name_m]Albert[/name_m] Bluejay is fantastic, but I prefer [name_m]Albie[/name_m] to [name_u]Bertie[/name_u] as a nickname for [name_m]Albert[/name_m]. [name_m]Felix[/name_m] Songbird doesn’t sound as good to my ear because of the slurriness of the side-by-side x and s. Would you consider [name_m]Felix[/name_m] Hummingbird? That combination, to me, is the essence of sweet, bright-eyed, sun-warmed happiness. I know you said middle names are not set in stone, but [name_m]Albert[/name_m] Bluejay ought to be, haha, and [name_m]Felix[/name_m] Hummingbird gets the green light from me! [name_m]Quentin[/name_m] is a name I love, but I’m not feeling it with the siblings’ names. (I do love the unexpectedness of [name_u]Elias[/name_u] [name_m]Malcolm[/name_m] [name_f]Pearl[/name_f], if you want to go for another name off your list.)

I’m so sorry to hear about your father-in-law. We lost my grandmother three months before I got pregnant, and I so wish the timing had been just a little bit different. I know she had been wondering when one of her grandkids would make her a great-grandmother. I’m sure it will bring your father-in-law great happiness and joy to know your baby’s name.

Oh oh! I am really into nature middle names. We considered [name_m]Wolf[/name_m], [name_u]Sage[/name_u], and [name_u]Frost[/name_u] for our son, but went a more traditional route and used my dad’s first name. I’ve resolved to use a nature middle name for our next child, if we have another, and your combinations are inspiring. That’s all!

I love [name_m]Peter[/name_m] & [name_m]Albert[/name_m] as brothers! [name_m]Felix[/name_m] is a great fit too though.
