We just found out that we will be having a boy! We’re very excited of course but the name list is looking lacklustre…
We have a fairly tricky surname, Hendrcks-Kumr, so names that are S- K- or X- heavy will be too much, so that leaves out names like [name]Sebastian[/name], [name]Dominic[/name] etc.
So we’re looking for names that are:
[ul]
[/ul]
Top of the list is [name]Theodore[/name] ([name]Teddy[/name]/[name]Ted[/name]/[name]Theo[/name]) but the only concern is that it might be a bit pompous? I really like [name]Evan[/name] too but my husband is not convinced.
Any other ideas that you think could work for us??? THANKS!
Damn the whole time I was reading this I was thinking [name]Theodore[/name]. I was checking it against everything to make sure it fit. I think theo is perfect for you!
[name]Theodore[/name] is still trending at the top in our house! Now we need a cool middle name to stave off all the fustiness that [name]Theodore[/name] Hendrcks-Kmar gives off!
It should probably be a single syllable name and something that he could use if he ever becomes a big name DJ in Ibiza instead of the sensible accountant type we’re expecting LOL… My husband is already referring to him as T-Dog (a joke I hope) but I would love a MN that is either a rocker’s name or a word name with a good or fun meaning. Ones I’ve bandied about include:
Dare (doesn’t go well after the dore of theodore)
[name]Jett[/name] - ehh
[name]Ace[/name] - cheesy?
[name]Axel[/name] - too harsh-shounding?
[name]Zane[/name] - bit popular in the UK right now
[name]Glad[/name] you are sticking with [name]Theodore[/name], it was the first name that came to mind when I read your criteria! Another one was [name]Jasper[/name].
