[name_f]Emilia[/name_f]! So gorgeous. And [name_f]Emi[/name_f] is adorable
The repeated O sounds in [name_f]Willow[/name_f] and [name_f]Fiona[/name_f] does not particularly appeal to me, personally - although [name_f]Fiona[/name_f] is certainly a lovely name.
I like [name_f]Emilia[/name_f]. [name_f]Fiona[/name_f] is a nice name, but it’s very much tied to the character of Shrek to me. I don’t know if kids born in 2019 will really make the association, but there is a risk of playground bulling calling her an ogre.
[name_m]Hi[/name_m] there.
[name_f]Emilia[/name_f] is beautiful. I think that it goes nicely w/[name_f]Willow[/name_f]. I’d be nervous about using it since it’s so close to [name_f]Amelia[/name_f] (my kitty’s name!), & [name_f]Amelia[/name_f] is so popular. Although, if you call her [name_f]Emi[/name_f] it would probably avoid confusion. That all being said, I voted for [name_f]Fiona[/name_f]. It’s my doggy’s name! It’s my favorite name. It’s strong and beautiful. It’s fairly unique, yet recognizable and easy to spell. It grows up well too in my opinion.
[name_f]Hope[/name_f] this helps.
I really like [name_f]Willow[/name_f] & [name_f]Fiona[/name_f] for sisters! [name_f]Emilia[/name_f] is beautiful and delicate. A fantastic option too. I voted for [name_f]Fiona[/name_f] but I think you should go with [name_f]Emilia[/name_f], since that’s the one you love the most. Good luck!
Another vote for [name_f]Willow[/name_f] and [name_f]Fiona[/name_f]-- they both have the O and I sounds that kind of tie them together in a subtle way.
Thanks so much for all the input so far. This has been a really tough decision for us, but your comments have been helpful! xo
I vote for [name_f]Fiona[/name_f] as both it and [name_f]Willow[/name_f] give off whimsical vibes. [name_f]Emilia[/name_f], specifically the English pronunciation, is quite frilly in comparison. Both are great choices though.
