We are still struggling between [name_f]Faye[/name_f] and [name_f]Flora[/name_f] and we took a break from the naming campaign to avoid frustrations. However, earlier this week we discovered that the baby is most likely a girl which got our spirits up and our minds back on choosing a name for her.
This morning, with the help of my sister, we found these two ideas that are not as strong as [name_f]Faye[/name_f] or [name_f]Flora[/name_f] but are at least intriguing:
[name_f]Alma[/name_f]
[name_f]Ada[/name_f]
I am usually drawn to consonant names for girls, but I have very positive opinions on these two. What do you think?
I love [name_f]Flora[/name_f] and [name_f]Ada[/name_f]. I personally prefer them as nn for [name_f]Florence[/name_f] and [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f], but they are lovely by themselves too
I think [name_f]Ada[/name_f] is a very strong name, maybe because of the somewhat harsh d sound, but I love it. I like [name_f]Ada[/name_f] [name_f]Emmeline[/name_f] or [name_f]Ada[/name_f] [name_f]Lucille[/name_f].
From your ideas I like [name_f]Ada[/name_f] [name_f]Faye[/name_f], [name_f]Faye[/name_f] [name_f]Alma[/name_f] or [name_f]Flora[/name_f] _____!
I love [name_f]Flora[/name_f] - reminds me of the fairy in Sleeping Beauty! [name_f]Faye[/name_f] is also lovely - a blogger I follow has recently had a baby [name_f]Faye[/name_f].
I don’t like [name_f]Alma[/name_f] so much, but [name_f]Ada[/name_f] is lovely, and a great alternative to the popular [name_f]Ava[/name_f]
I love [name_f]Flora[/name_f]! I like the sound of [name_f]Faye[/name_f] too but I think I prefer it in the middle spot. I much prefer [name_f]Ada[/name_f] over [name_f]Alma[/name_f]. [name_f]Ada[/name_f] is a short, but strong name for a girl.
I love [name_f]Flora[/name_f]. [name_f]Faye[/name_f] and [name_f]Alma[/name_f] are not my style. [name_f]Ada[/name_f] is pretty but I fear it will blend in with [name_f]Ava[/name_f] and [name_u]Aiden[/name_u] which are very common in their various forms.
I adore [name_f]Faye[/name_f] and [name_f]Ada[/name_f] and [name_f]Flora[/name_f] are lovely. I’m not too keen on [name_f]Alma[/name_f] but that’s because it just makes me think of the nun from [name_f]Sister[/name_f] Act!
I love [name_f]Ada[/name_f]! It’s my favorite of your list. It has the inspirational namesake of [name_f]Ada[/name_f] Lovelace. [name_f]Flora[/name_f] is also a nice name, not fond of [name_f]Faye[/name_f] because of the meaning. [name_f]Alma[/name_f] makes me think of [name_f]Alma[/name_f] mater and the such. It is pretty though.
