I’ve posted asking for advice quite a few times and always love the nice and honest opinions I receive.
I think we have settled on [name_f]Harriet[/name_f], although [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] insists that she will be calling her [name_f]Rosie[/name_f] regardless of what we name her… :rolleyes:
We haven’t chosen a middle name yet(though we have a few in mind), so I thought I would post and see what other berries would choose as a middle for [name_f]Harriet[/name_f]?
[name_f]Eloise[/name_f], [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f], [name_m]Foster[/name_m] and [name_f]Harriet[/name_f] make a beautiful sib set! For middles, what style are you interested in? Maybe it would help if we knew your other babies’ middles

But I feel like [name_f]Harriet[/name_f] needs a more feminine middle? It just seems a bit more “old-lady” than the others… We have considered [name_f]Primrose[/name_f] (to sort of work [name_f]Rosie[/name_f] into it), [name_u]June[/name_u], and I love [name_f]Mabel[/name_f] but dh does not, just to give you a feel of what we’re liking.

I’m glad to see that other people think [name_f]Primrose[/name_f] goes well! We’ve considered it as a first name but I adore [name_f]Harriet[/name_f] and I wonder if it will get trendy because of the Hunger Games?
Dh has been rather picky this time, usually he doesn’t care much about middle names, but I will definitely run all of these by him!
Gorgeous sibset. I would keep [name_f]Harriet[/name_f] as the fn and [name_f]Primrose[/name_f] in the middle. Goes better with sibset. If you want a [name_f]Rose[/name_f] name up front I would go with something like [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f]…
For a front-runner [name_f]Rose[/name_f] name I like [name_f]Rosamund[/name_f] and all of it’s nn potential ([name_f]Rosie[/name_f], [name_f]Ro[/name_f], [name_u]Rue[/name_u]) but dh isn’t fond of it although he does like [name_u]Rue[/name_u]. But I still think I prefer [name_f]Harriet[/name_f]… I’ve loved it for a long time and am thrilled dh is finally ok with it, hehe.
[name_m]Just[/name_m] piping in to suggest [name_f]Rosette[/name_f]. It’s got the last sound of [name_f]Harriet[/name_f] but obviously goes with the [name_f]Rose[/name_f] theme. I realize your daughter will prob definitely be [name_f]Harriet[/name_f] but I wanted to throw that out there just in case! Congrats
