We were team green our whole pregnancy, but our family of two little boys now has a sweet girl in it. She is already two days old and completely perfect.
After a lot of deliberation, we settled on a name with the help of [name_u]Abby[/name_u] the Name [name_u]Sage[/name_u]! Her name is [name_f]Mary[/name_f] [name_u]Eloise[/name_u] - [name_f]Mary[/name_f] because we try to give our children a scriptural character in each of their names, and [name_u]Eloise[/name_u] just because we liked the name and thought it added some spunk to [name_f]Mary[/name_f]. Her brothers are [name_m]Henry[/name_m] [name_m]Hiram[/name_m] and [name_m]Joseph[/name_m] [name_m]Magnus[/name_m]. We have received some negative comments about having a [name_m]Joseph[/name_m] and a [name_f]Mary[/name_f], but our little boy usually goes by his initials JM (because we don’t like the nickname [name_m]Joe[/name_m]) which has evolved into the nickname [name_u]Jem[/name_u]. Furthermore, where we live the first [name_m]Joseph[/name_m] people think of is [name_m]Joseph[/name_m] [name_m]Smith[/name_m]. It was by far our favorite name for our little girl and it fits her perfectly.

Thank you all so much for your kind words! We, so far, haven’t given her a nickname, though we are leaving the possibility of [name_f]Emmy[/name_f] (ME) open, as well as the nicknames that come with [name_f]Mary[/name_f] and [name_u]Eloise[/name_u]. However we’ve only called her [name_f]Mary[/name_f] [name_u]Eloise[/name_u] and occasionally [name_f]Mary[/name_f] so far. She’s a beautiful, happy baby and her name fits her so well.
