It's another girl and hubby and I don't like ANY of the same names

Starting from scratch - suggestions needed. I like meaning, literary references, and uncommon names (my daughter loves being an Avonlea) and my husband likes common names and doesn’t care what they mean. Our faith is central in our lives and this baby will be born in [name]December[/name] (they won’t let me go past 39 weeks). He is a good ole country boy - and I love that about him, but I love the more Gone with the Wind southern names than the hoe down names  Our last name is two syllables and ends in “O” - can anyone find me some middle ground???

Here are a few that feel classic and not too out there for your DH but might be unique enough for you.

[name]Ada[/name]
[name]Selah[/name]
[name]Amelie[/name]
[name]Flora[/name]
[name]Cecily[/name]
[name]Augusta[/name]
[name]Gemma[/name]
[name]Laurel[/name]
[name]Pearl[/name]
[name]Polly[/name] (this is a nn for [name]Mary[/name] and can be a good compromise for a classic)
[name]Daisy[/name]
[name]Maisie[/name]

Also, family names are a great way to get an unexpected name that works for classic lovers. Check out middle names, surnames, and names from several generations back on his side. You might find some gems that seem unusual, but because it was great grandma’s name he’s used to it. That’s what I’m doing!

I absolutely adore the name Avonlea. It is so beautiful and way underused.
I definitely love the pp suggestion of [name]Augusta[/name].

Some other possibilities are:
[name]Ruby[/name]
[name]Caroline[/name]
[name]Josephine[/name]
[name]Charlotte[/name] - [name]Lottie[/name] as a nn would be super cute, and vintage-y.
[name]Addison[/name]
[name]Alice[/name]
[name]Audrey[/name]
[name]Margaret[/name]
[name]Darlene[/name] - I really love this for some reason, nn [name]Darcy[/name]. I just think its adorable.
[name]Tallulah[/name]
[name]Lillian[/name]
[name]Emmeline[/name]
[name]Ivy[/name]
[name]Nora[/name]
[name]Leona[/name]
[name]Matilda[/name]
[name]Tessa[/name]
[name]Violet[/name]
[name]Vivian[/name]
[name]Annabelle[/name]
[name]Sadie[/name]

I hope you at least like one of these. I tried to stick to names that I either find have a vintage or classic feel to them, or names I think have a southern feel to them. [name]Hope[/name] I helped, and good luck.

Such a tough situation! Hopefully some of these might help!

Bethlehem- you could call her [name]Beth[/name]/Bethy. I know its not common, but it fits with the religious [name]December[/name]. The name [name]Belen[/name] is also spanish for Bethlehem and very pretty (pronounced [name]Bay[/name]-[name]Len[/name], not [name]Bell[/name]-en)
[name]Gloria[/name]- “Hark the Heralds, Angels sing…” I like this one for the [name]December[/name] theme.
[name]Gabrielle[/name]/[name]Gabriella[/name]- Female version of the [name]Angel[/name] [name]Gabriel[/name], and its a pretty “normal” name, plus [name]Gabby[/name]/[name]Gabbie[/name]/[name]Gaby[/name] is cute

Literary:
Pemberley- The name of Mr. [name]Darcy[/name]'s home in Debryshire, sounds similar to [name]Kimberly[/name] but prettier if you ask me
[name]Darcy[/name]- speaking of [name]Darcy[/name], a very popular and cute girls name
[name]Cora[/name]- A charaters name in the book, Last of the Mohicans, and its a very common name now
[name]Sydney[/name]- Tale of Two cities Character
[name]Lucie[/name]- unique spelling from a character of A Tale of Two Cities
[name]Mayella[/name]- Character in To Kill a Mockingbird, written by southern author [name]Harper[/name] [name]Lee[/name]
[name]Harper[/name]- Look above

You already have such beautiful childrens names, I really hope these help!

Names that feel classic and vintage-y but also have literary & faith connections and are well-known imo:
[name]Lucy[/name] -means “light” which would be a great name for a [name]December[/name] baby, since the [name]Light[/name] of the World was born at [name]Christmas[/name] (although, I’m assuming that when you said your faith was central, that you’re [name]Christian[/name]… but if you’re Jewish, it also works for Chanukka  )
[name]Jane[/name] -means “God is gracious”
[name]Phoebe[/name] -Biblical name that also means “light”
hope that helps (sorry list is so short -baby’s nap is finished now  )

I am in the same situation with my husband. I tend to like soft, feminine names and he is allergic to anything that even thinks about ending in an A! Compromise is hard!

With your other kids, I like soft, kind of rural sounding names…I also starred the biblical ones:

[name]Ruby[/name]
[name]Lily[/name]
[name]Selah[/name]*
[name]Sadie[/name] (maybe as a nn for [name]Sarah[/name])
[name]Shiloh[/name]

[name]Naomi[/name]*
[name]Magnolia[/name]
[name]Shelby[/name]
[name]Mercy[/name]
[name]Elizabeth[/name]* nn [name]Libby[/name] or Liddy or [name]Ellie[/name] or [name]Ella[/name]
[name]Lydia[/name]*
[name]Annabelle[/name] ([name]Annie[/name])
[name]Dahlia[/name]
[name]Adah[/name]*
[name]Miriam[/name]*
[name]Adeline[/name]
[name]Esther[/name]*
[name]Eve[/name]* ([name]Evie[/name])
[name]Ruth[/name] ([name]Ruthie[/name]) …I’ve always like [name]Ruth[/name] combos, which might appeal to his country side: [name]Ruth[/name] [name]May[/name], [name]Anna[/name] [name]Ruth[/name], [name]Ella[/name] [name]Ruth[/name], [name]Emma[/name] [name]Ruth[/name], [name]Ruth[/name] [name]Anne[/name]…
[name]Magdalene[/name]/a nn [name]Maggie[/name] *
[name]Tabitha[/name]
[name]Emmeline[/name] ([name]Emmy[/name])
[name]Mabel[/name]

[name]Leah[/name]*
[name]Rachel[/name]*

Here are a few literary names that aren’t over the top or super common:

[name]Thessaly[/name]
[name]Rowena[/name]
[name]Elspeth[/name]
[name]Cassandra[/name]
[name]Agnesina[/name]
