Are you wanting to stick with the “J” theme you have going on?

Congrats by the way!!

No, not necessarily. I do kind of like [name]Josephine[/name], but I’m afraid that if our 4th one is another girl, I’ll have “named myself into a corner” and have to stick with another j name…and there just aren’t a whole lot of j girl names that I like.

[name]Elizabeth[/name] is nice.

So funny when I saw the title I immediatly thought “she is going to say [name]Elizabeth[/name]”… go figure! So on that note, [name]Elizabeth[/name] is way to predictable with [name]John[/name] and [name]James[/name], I love the idea of a baby sister [name]Evangeline[/name] [name]Grace[/name]. Beautiful.

My faves are [name]Elizabeth[/name], [name]Grace[/name] and [name]Violet[/name] with [name]John[/name] and [name]James[/name].

[name]Elizabeth[/name] [name]Jane[/name] is beautiful and classic and works brilliantly with [name]John[/name] and [name]James[/name]. I don’t think it’s boring, I think its regal sounding, and you have so many nn options which helps. From [name]Lizzie[/name], [name]Libby[/name], [name]Betsy[/name], [name]Beth[/name], [name]Betty[/name], [name]Eliza[/name], [name]Ella[/name], [name]Ellie[/name], [name]Elle[/name], [name]Liza[/name], Bitsy, [name]Bea[/name]… yeah there are loads! Also I adore [name]Jane[/name] (its my middle name too!) and I like that it subtly carries on the J theme.

If you’re not keen on [name]Elizabeth[/name] up front, I do think [name]Violet[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name] makes a wonderful, vintage and less traditional alternative. Still pretty and feminine but not as purely classic as [name]Elizabeth[/name]. [name]Vivi[/name] or [name]Lettie[/name] are really sweet nicknames too.

[name]Grace[/name] is as classic and elegant and classic as [name]Elizabeth[/name] but with a short and sweet style, and the same 1 syllable as [name]John[/name] and [name]James[/name], so I think thats a good match too. [name]Grace[/name] has a very simple, chic feeling to me. I think [name]Grace[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name] would be lovely, or [name]Grace[/name] [name]Jessamine[/name] to carry on the J theme. I think [name]Grace[/name] needs a multi syllabic middle name. I also like [name]Grace[/name] [name]Penelope[/name], [name]Grace[/name] [name]Susannah[/name], [name]Grace[/name] [name]Natalia[/name], [name]Grace[/name] [name]Evangeline[/name], [name]Grace[/name] [name]Rosalia[/name], [name]Grace[/name] [name]Louisa[/name], [name]Grace[/name] [name]Joanna[/name], [name]Grace[/name] [name]Josephine[/name], [name]Grace[/name] [name]Viviana[/name], [name]Grace[/name] [name]Viola[/name], [name]Grace[/name] [name]Catalina[/name], [name]Grace[/name] [name]Adelaide[/name], [name]Grace[/name] [name]Mirabelle[/name], [name]Grace[/name] [name]Naomi[/name] etc

I hope that helps, and congrats on your little girl! I hope you find the perfect name for her

[name]Evangeline[/name] [name]Grace[/name] is by far my favourite!

[name]Grace[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name] or [name]Grace[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name] [name]Rose[/name] is a nice fit in your family.

Personally it would bother me to have two boys with one syllable names and then a girl with a 4 syllable name, so as much as I love [name]Elizabeth[/name] it would be out for me. I think [name]Grace[/name] would be my choice of your options because its classic and single syllable. I would also suggest [name]Anne[/name], [name]Claire[/name], [name]Blythe[/name], [name]Paige[/name], [name]Kate[/name].

Some other Biblical names that are shorter like [name]John[/name] & [name]James[/name]

[name]Hannah[/name]
[name]Mary[/name]
[name]Miriam[/name]
[name]Sarah[/name]

If you go with [name]Elizabeth[/name], I actually like [name]Grace[/name] as the mn option.

[name]Cris[/name]

[name]Grace[/name] is my favorite! I think [name]John[/name], [name]James[/name] and [name]Grace[/name] are fantastic together! I also love the above suggestion of [name]Kate[/name]. [name]Elizabeth[/name] is also gorgeous and timeless. I personally think [name]Grace[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name] or [name]Elizabeth[/name] [name]Grace[/name] is the way to go! Good luck!

I think [name]Evangeline[/name]'s a little “out there” compared to such solid classics as [name]John[/name] and [name]James[/name] (plus I’m not a huge fan of the name)… I voted for [name]Vivian[/name], but I think [name]Elizabeth[/name] and [name]Violet[/name] would also be lovely.

I like the suggestion of [name]Miriam[/name] - [name]Naomi[/name] would be a nice idea too!

[name]Grace[/name] is by far my favourite, and as someone else said, it matches the simplicity of [name]James[/name] and [name]John[/name]. I’d agree that it needs a polysyllabic middle name and out of those suggested, I think [name]Josephine[/name] and [name]Elizabeth[/name] would fit, though my choice might be [name]Eleanor[/name].

Please look up the character [name]Violet[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name] in Richmal Crompton’s ‘[name]Just[/name] [name]William[/name]’ books - it might not put you off the name, but should definitely make you smile!

I love [name]Elizabeth[/name] its beautiful and classic, if not predictable. Because i knew you were going to suggest [name]Elizabeth[/name] before i read the post, i voted for [name]Vivian[/name]. I really like all your options but i worry [name]Violet[/name] is trendy and [name]Evangeline[/name] might be a mouthful- although personally I’d be willing to overlook that

I didn’t vote in the poll, but only because my two favourites from your picks are mix-and-match: [name]Violet[/name] [name]Grace[/name] and [name]Jane[/name] [name]Vivian[/name]. I think that [name]Violet[/name] is a beautiful name- it’s more exotic than [name]Rose[/name] but still feminine and sweet. [name]Jane[/name] is one of those names that will never go out of style- it’s a true classic. I think that it’s sweet and pretty like [name]Elizabeth[/name], but not as frequently used.

Speaking of [name]Elizabeth[/name]… I think it’s a lovely name. It’s timeless and has historical significance, but I find that it’s just far too common now. There’s an [name]Elizabeth[/name] on practically every class list now. [name]Don[/name]'t get me wrong, there’s absolutely nothing wrong with it, and I think it’s very pretty, but it’s very common and popular at this moment in time. I just think that there are many equally beautiful names that are more unique.

I agree that [name]Elizabeth[/name] is [name]WAY[/name] too popular - if it’s not in the first name place, a lot of people have it as a middle name. That being said, I like [name]Violet[/name] and [name]Vivian[/name] best from your list.

Another name to throw out there that would match your boys’ names (stylistically) is [name]Miriam[/name]: she’s a little unexpected, but still fits perfectly with your boys. I like the idea of [name]Miriam[/name] [name]Violet[/name] best.

I don’t get the whole [name]Elizabeth[/name] being way too predictable, is it really that common these days? I live in the UK and I never hear of little [name]Elizabeth[/name]'s. I voted for [name]Elizabeth[/name] [name]Rose[/name] but I am biased because that’s my name!

I do like [name]Evangeline[/name], and [name]Vivienne[/name] (but only this spelling).

The [name]Elizabeth[/name] Combos are my favorites, although [name]Violet[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name] is also stunning. I’m not really a fan of [name]Grace[/name], [name]Evangeline[/name] or [name]Vivien[/name].

I love both [name]John[/name], [name]James[/name] & [name]Elizabeth[/name] OR [name]John[/name], [name]James[/name] & [name]Violet[/name] as possible sibsets.

would you go for another J name to go with [name]John[/name] & [name]James[/name]

  • [name]Jessica[/name]
  • [name]Jade[/name]
  • [name]Jasmine[/name]
  • [name]Jacinta[/name]
  • [name]Josie[/name] ([name]Josephine[/name])

[name]Elizabeth[/name] is a classic, it’s not too common to be paired with [name]John[/name] and [name]James[/name].

That said, [name]Jane[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name] would be a lot more uncommon than [name]Elizabeth[/name] [name]Jane[/name], while still maintaining the timeless style you seem to be going for. I adore [name]Jane[/name] as a first name and I don’t think it’s even in the Top 100 anymore. ([name]Nor[/name] is [name]Catherine[/name] for that matter).

[name]Elizabeth[/name] [name]Jane[/name] and [name]Violet[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name] got my vote.
