So I was talking to my husband about brainstorming name ideas if we were to have a third (2nd is due in March, I just can’t help but plan) and we came up with choosing a name to honor Washington D.C. since its where we are both from. We wanted something historical or something to do with D.C. (monuments, presidents, landmarks, rivers, etc). For example, Hudson honors New York. What could honor D.C.? Thanks berries!
[name]Smith[/name] - the Smithsonian museums
[name]Penn[/name] - 1600 Pennsylvania [name]Ave[/name]…
[name]Lincoln[/name]
[name]Jefferson[/name]
[name]George[/name] - First name of many presidents.
[name]Theodore[/name] - [name]Roosevelt[/name]
[name]Madison[/name] - [name]James[/name] [name]Madison[/name]
[name]Grant[/name] - president
[name]Columbia[/name] / [name]Columba[/name] - District of [name]Columbia[/name]!
[name]Eleanor[/name] - [name]Roosevelt[/name]
[name]Autumn[/name] - This is more subjective, but when I think of DC, for some reason, autumn leaves come to mind.
[name]Madison[/name] (either gender) - [name]James[/name] [name]Madison[/name]
[name]Virginia[/name] - nearby state
Haha - I’m in the same situation - #2 is due in [name]May[/name] but I’m already dreaming about names for #3, even though I haven’t even decided on names for #2!
I’m not from DC, but what about [name]Morgan[/name] for the [name]Adams[/name] [name]Morgan[/name] neighborhood? Or even [name]Adam[/name] [name]Morgan[/name]?
Or [name]Vernon[/name]? Probably something that is personally meaningful to your two would be the best.
