I've tidied up my lists... what do you think?

Middles are mostly family names, and there’s a couple in the front spot too. Nicknames wouldn’t be exclusive.
Please don’t suggest longer forms or variations.

[name_f]Jemima[/name_f] [name_f]Ophelia[/name_f] or [name_f]Jemima[/name_f] [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] ([name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] is a family name, but I feel it’s boring with [name_f]Jemima[/name_f]?)
[name_f]Constance[/name_f] [name_f]Margo[/name_f] ‘’[name_f]Coco[/name_f]‘’
[name_f]Sybilla[/name_f] [name_f]Amelia[/name_f] ‘’[name_u]Billie[/name_u]‘’
[name_f]Agnes[/name_f] [name_f]Eilidh[/name_f] (pn of [name_f]Eilidh[/name_f] is AY-lee)
[name_f]Io[/name_f] [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f] (pn of [name_f]Io[/name_f] is EYE-oh, do you prefer EE-oh?)
[name_f]Nancy[/name_f] [name_f]Marina[/name_f]
[name_f]Lula[/name_f] [name_f]Titania[/name_f]
or [name_f]Lula[/name_f] [name_f]Virginia[/name_f]

[name_m]Casimir[/name_m] [name_m]Jack[/name_m] ‘’[name_u]Cass[/name_u]‘’ (also thinking about spelling [name_m]Casimer[/name_m]? I don’t know. It looks more anglicized and I sort of prefer it because it was the first spelling I saw, and the only person I know with it spells it this way, but is it a valid spelling?)
[name_u]Emmett[/name_u] [name_m]Atticus[/name_m]
[name_m]William[/name_m] [name_m]Hugh[/name_m]
[name_m]Bruno[/name_m] [name_m]Alec[/name_m]

[name_u]Asa[/name_u] [name_m]Nicholas[/name_m] (also thinking about [name_m]Cyril[/name_m] to replace [name_u]Asa[/name_u]? I don’t know)

Thanks… [name_f]Olivia[/name_f] x

I really like [name_f]Io[/name_f] (eye-oh) [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f] and [name_u]Emmett[/name_u] [name_m]Atticus[/name_m]

[name_u]Asa[/name_u] [name_m]Nicholas[/name_m] and [name_f]Lula[/name_f] [name_f]Titania[/name_f] are awesome names. Definitely my favorites!

Thanks  I had actually assumed that [name_f]Io[/name_f] and [name_f]Lula[/name_f] (especially with [name_f]Titania[/name_f]) would get the least amount of appreciation, but apparently not!

I love [name_f]Jemima[/name_f] [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f], if I’m honest. [name_f]Ophelia[/name_f]'s a favourite of mine, but it doesn’t fit quite as nicely for me with [name_f]Jemima[/name_f].
[name_f]Constance[/name_f] [name_f]Margo[/name_f] is another wonderful one, but I prefer the [name_f]Margot[/name_f] spelling myself
[name_f]Sybilla[/name_f] [name_f]Amelia[/name_f] is too much ‘A’ for my liking.
[name_f]Agnes[/name_f] [name_f]Eilidh[/name_f] is gorgeous!
[name_f]Io[/name_f] [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f] is nice, but [name_f]Io[/name_f] doesn’t sound overly appealing to me. EE-oh sounds like a brand of yogurt over here, and EYE-oh sounds like ‘hi-ho’ to me.
[name_f]Nancy[/name_f] [name_f]Marina[/name_f] is lovely
OMG [name_f]Lula[/name_f] [name_f]Titania[/name_f] all the way! [name_f]Titania[/name_f]'s a favourite of mine, so I [name_f]LOVE[/name_f] seeing it used.

[name_m]Casimir[/name_m] [name_m]Jack[/name_m] is nice, nms, but nice.
[name_u]Emmett[/name_u] [name_m]Atticus[/name_m] is wonderful!
[name_m]William[/name_m] [name_m]Hugh[/name_m] reminds me of [name_m]Hugh[/name_m] [name_m]Grant[/name_m], which isn’t such a bad thing to remind women of with your name  haha!
[name_m]Bruno[/name_m] is lovely, but I feel like he needs a bit more to his middle name.
I don’t like [name_u]Asa[/name_u] (probably because my mind wants the A to be like ‘ah’ instead of ‘ay’, which makes [name_u]Asa[/name_u] into a not so nice name), and I’m not wildly keen on [name_m]Cyril[/name_m] either, but I prefer [name_m]Cyril[/name_m] [name_m]Nicholas[/name_m].

I like [name_f]Jemima[/name_f] [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f], I don’t think it sounds boring at all. I also like that is a family name.
[name_f]Constance[/name_f] [name_f]Margo[/name_f]- I have always really liked the name [name_f]Constance[/name_f], it has a certain elegance. I agree with Lawsonhaley, I like the [name_f]Margot[/name_f] spelling as well.
[name_f]Sybilla[/name_f] [name_f]Amelia[/name_f]- I am not a huge fan of [name_f]Sybilla[/name_f] or [name_f]Sybil[/name_f]. I love [name_f]Amelia[/name_f] though.
[name_f]Agnes[/name_f] [name_f]Eilidh[/name_f]- I am not a huge fan of [name_f]Agnes[/name_f] either.
[name_f]Io[/name_f] [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f]- I like the eye-oh pronunciation. [name_f]Io[/name_f] is intriguing but I do think it may be hard to pull off. I do love the combo though, it sounds beautiful.
[name_f]Nancy[/name_f] [name_f]Marina[/name_f]- is nice. I particularly like [name_f]Marina[/name_f].
[name_f]Lula[/name_f] [name_f]Titania[/name_f]- nms but I do prefer it to [name_f]Lula[/name_f] [name_f]Virginia[/name_f].
[name_m]Casimir[/name_m] [name_m]Jack[/name_m]- nice but nms.
I really like [name_u]Emmett[/name_u] [name_m]Atticus[/name_m] and [name_m]William[/name_m] [name_m]Hugh[/name_m]. And I also like [name_u]Asa[/name_u] [name_m]Nicholas[/name_m].

I’ve bolded the ones I particularly like.

[name_f]Jemima[/name_f] [name_f]Ophelia[/name_f] or [name_f]Jemima[/name_f] [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] - [name_f]Jemima[/name_f] [name_f]Ophelia[/name_f] definitely has a nicer “ring” to it.
[name_f]Constance[/name_f] [name_f]Margo[/name_f] ‘’[name_f]Coco[/name_f]’’ - Nice; I’ve always felt virtue names have been underrated.
[name_f]Sybilla[/name_f] [name_f]Amelia[/name_f] ‘’[name_u]Billie[/name_u]’’ - I automatically want to say “[name_f]Sybella[/name_f]” which will be constantly confused with all the Isabellas.
[name_f]Agnes[/name_f] [name_f]Eilidh[/name_f] (pn of [name_f]Eilidh[/name_f] is AY-lee) - Two of my personal faves! Vintage and edgy at the same time. (And thank you for putting [name_f]Eilidh[/name_f] in the middle - too many pronounciation issues to put it up front)
[name_f]Io[/name_f] [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f] (pn of [name_f]Io[/name_f] is EYE-oh, do you prefer EE-oh?) - EE-oh sounds like Eeyore, and I would say EYE-oh automatically anyway. It’s a little on the “weird” side for me, but I can see it working.
[name_f]Nancy[/name_f] [name_f]Marina[/name_f] - flows nicely, even if [name_f]Nancy[/name_f] is rather dated.
[name_f]Lula[/name_f] [name_f]Titania[/name_f] or [name_f]Lula[/name_f] [name_f]Virginia[/name_f] - [name_m]Both[/name_m] combos are a little “a” heavy, and I keep wanting to say [name_f]Lulu[/name_f]. [name_f]Lula[/name_f] [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] might work.

[name_m]Casimir[/name_m] [name_m]Jack[/name_m] ‘’[name_u]Cass[/name_u]’’ - I would pronounce this caz-ih-meer, and [name_m]Casimer[/name_m] caz-ih-merr. Personally, I prefer the first, even though [name_m]Casimir[/name_m] isn’t a favorite in general. A good pairing, though - [name_m]Jack[/name_m] is a great fall back name if he ends up hating [name_m]Casimir[/name_m].
[name_u]Emmett[/name_u] [name_m]Atticus[/name_m] - a bit “tt” heavy.
[name_m]William[/name_m] [name_m]Hugh[/name_m] - [name_f]Lovely[/name_f] combo; the [name_m]Hugh[/name_m] makes it nice and soft but not too feminine. But [name_m]William[/name_m] is super popular, apparently, if you care about that.
[name_m]Bruno[/name_m] [name_m]Alec[/name_m] - sounds like a manly man, and though I don’t like [name_m]Bruno[/name_m], I rather like this combo.
[name_u]Asa[/name_u] [name_m]Nicholas[/name_m] - something about the ending in [name_m]Nicholas[/name_m] seems to clash with [name_u]Asa[/name_u]. (That and I don’t like [name_u]Asa[/name_u] much in general)
[name_m]Cyril[/name_m] [name_m]Nicholas[/name_m] - No, [name_u]Asa[/name_u] [name_m]Nicholas[/name_m] sounds better.

[name_f]Hope[/name_f] that helped!

My favorites are…
[name_f]Agnes[/name_f] [name_f]Eilidh[/name_f]
[name_f]Lula[/name_f] [name_f]Virginia[/name_f]
If I could swap some around I like
[name_f]Lula[/name_f] [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f]
[name_f]Nancy[/name_f] [name_f]Ophelia[/name_f]
[name_f]Margo[/name_f] [name_f]Amelia[/name_f]

[name_u]Emmett[/name_u] [name_m]Atticus[/name_m]
[name_m]William[/name_m] [name_m]Hugh[/name_m]

[name_m]Bruno[/name_m] [name_m]Alec[/name_m]

[name_f]Sybilla[/name_f] [name_f]Amelia[/name_f] and [name_f]Lula[/name_f] [name_f]Virginia[/name_f] are precious! [name_m]William[/name_m] [name_m]Hugh[/name_m] and [name_u]Emmett[/name_u] [name_m]Atticus[/name_m] I love. [name_m]Atticus[/name_m] reminds me of To Kill a Mockingbird (in the best of ways!)…

@jame: Ooh, I love [name_f]Lula[/name_f] [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f]. Honestly it’s a really important family name and I’ve been looking for somewhere to put it for a while. Thanks! [name_f]Nancy[/name_f] is rather dated, but so are [name_f]Agnes[/name_f] and [name_u]Asa[/name_u]. I was actually worried [name_f]Nancy[/name_f] was too popular, in the UK it’s just outside the top 100.

@raquel: Yeah, in reality I think [name_f]Io[/name_f] is best left as a guilty pleasure. It’s a shame because I’ve just found a combo I like haha.

@[name_u]Haley[/name_u]: [name_f]Margo[/name_f] is honouring a [name_f]Margaret[/name_f], and I like the [name_f]Margot[/name_f] spelling alot too but I feel its Frenchness takes something away from the name; [name_f]Margo[/name_f] is more my grandma than [name_f]Margot[/name_f] is what I’m trying to say haha. I hadn’t really thought of [name_m]Hugh[/name_m] [name_m]Grant[/name_m]… there are loads of British actors/comidians that age with the same name. What can I say, I like dad names  I just fell in love with it when I found out it means ‘heart/intellect’.

@lavender: [name_f]Margo[/name_f] [name_f]Amelia[/name_f] has been on my list before - so lovely! I just don’t love [name_f]Margo[/name_f] in the front spot anymore.

@rachel: [name_m]Atticus[/name_m] reminds me of Mr. [name_u]Finch[/name_u] too :slight_smile: It’s actually the single reason it’s a favourite.

Thanks everyone

[name_f]Jemima[/name_f] [name_f]Ophelia[/name_f] or [name_f]Jemima[/name_f] [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] - [name_f]Love[/name_f] both, and don’t feel that [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] is boring with [name_f]Jemima[/name_f], I think it’s very pretty!
[name_f]Constance[/name_f] [name_f]Margo[/name_f] ‘’[name_f]Coco[/name_f]’’ - [name_f]Love[/name_f] the nickname, not a fan of [name_f]Constance[/name_f] though and prefer [name_f]Margot[/name_f] with a t
[name_f]Sybilla[/name_f] [name_f]Amelia[/name_f] ‘’[name_u]Billie[/name_u]’’ - Pretty, and think the nickname is adorable!
[name_f]Agnes[/name_f] [name_f]Eilidh[/name_f] (pn of [name_f]Eilidh[/name_f] is AY-lee) - [name_f]Lovely[/name_f], adore [name_f]Eilidh[/name_f]
[name_f]Io[/name_f] [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f] (pn of [name_f]Io[/name_f] is EYE-oh, do you prefer EE-oh?) - I like [name_f]Io[/name_f] but it doesn’t feel very substantial, and I’m not a huge fan of [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f]. I pronounce [name_f]Io[/name_f], eye-oh.
[name_f]Nancy[/name_f] [name_f]Marina[/name_f] - alright but some of your other names are much better.
[name_f]Lula[/name_f] [name_f]Titania[/name_f] or [name_f]Lula[/name_f] [name_f]Virginia[/name_f] - Definitely [name_f]Lula[/name_f] [name_f]Titania[/name_f], which is absolutely gorgeous.

[name_m]Casimir[/name_m] [name_m]Jack[/name_m] ‘’[name_u]Cass[/name_u]’’ - much prefer the traditional spelling, [name_m]Casimir[/name_m], and think this is a lovely name.
[name_u]Emmett[/name_u] [name_m]Atticus[/name_m] - lovely name
[name_m]William[/name_m] [name_m]Hugh[/name_m] - doesn’t have as much ‘oomph’ as some of your other names
[name_m]Bruno[/name_m] [name_m]Alec[/name_m] - I love [name_m]Bruno[/name_m] but don’t think it works very well with [name_m]Alec[/name_m]
[name_u]Asa[/name_u] [name_m]Nicholas[/name_m] - stick with [name_u]Asa[/name_u] [name_m]Nicholas[/name_m], which is gorgeous, whereas [name_m]Cyril[/name_m] is meh

[name_f]Jemima[/name_f] [name_f]Ophelia[/name_f]: [name_m]Both[/name_m] are beautiful, but the -ma in [name_f]Jemima[/name_f] gets smooshed together a little with the -ma- in [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] when I say it out loud (that could just be my lame accent though), so my vote goes to [name_f]Jemima[/name_f] [name_f]Ophelia[/name_f].
[name_f]Constance[/name_f] [name_f]Margo[/name_f]: [name_f]Constance[/name_f] is dear and [name_f]Margo[/name_f] is just badass. It reminds me of [name_f]Bette[/name_f] [name_m]Davis[/name_m] in All About [name_f]Eve[/name_f] - [name_f]Margo[/name_f] [name_u]Channing[/name_u] is one of the best film characters ever. I don’t know that it is perfect right after [name_f]Constance[/name_f] though. [name_f]Constance[/name_f] [name_f]Margaret[/name_f] is gorgeous though, but that’s probably just me and my thing for [name_f]Margaret[/name_f].
[name_f]Sybilla[/name_f] [name_f]Amelia[/name_f]: The endings get a little smooshed together (again, might just be my accent). I know [name_f]Sibylla[/name_f] isn’t as well-loved that [name_f]Sybilla[/name_f] is, but I think she goes much better with [name_f]Amelia[/name_f] than [name_f]Sybella[/name_f] does. Or alternatively [name_f]Sybil[/name_f]. [name_f]Amelia[/name_f] is smashing.
[name_f]Agnes[/name_f] [name_f]Eilidh[/name_f]: My favourite of them all. These two are like made for each other; good job!
[name_f]Io[/name_f] [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f]: I definitely prefer [name_f]Io[/name_f] pronounced EYE-oh. If you choose to pronounce it EE-oh, I don’t think it should be with [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f] right after. In Denmark we would pronounce it “[name_u]Jo[/name_u]” which I also think sounds quite nice. This is beautiful. I love the short and strong name paired with the ethereal, long name.
[name_f]Nancy[/name_f] [name_f]Marina[/name_f]: I have a friend named [name_f]Marina[/name_f] who is nicknamed [name_f]Nancy[/name_f] (and to me, every name with a “na” in it can be nicknamed [name_f]Nancy[/name_f] because I love that nickname so), so I have a hard time picturing them together. I love both names individually though.
[name_f]Lula[/name_f] [name_f]Titania[/name_f]: [name_f]Titania[/name_f] is much more flattering with [name_f]Lula[/name_f] than [name_f]Virginia[/name_f] is. Not my favourite, but I like it and the names sound nice together.

[name_m]Casimir[/name_m] [name_m]Jack[/name_m]: Definitely prefer it spelled [name_m]Casimir[/name_m]. [name_m]Casimer[/name_m] looks like a misspelling to me. [name_m]Casimir[/name_m] is such a handsome name. I’m generally not fond of using nicknames as given names, but [name_m]Casimir[/name_m] [name_m]Jack[/name_m] sounds so darling. Can’t help but liking it.
[name_u]Emmett[/name_u] [name_m]Atticus[/name_m]: When I said it out loud, I accidentally said [name_u]Emmet[/name_u] Tatticus, lol. The T’s are very… present? You hear them very well, so I don’t know that it’s the greatest match. I like [name_u]Emmett[/name_u] (even though I think of poor [name_u]Emmett[/name_u] from Keeping Up Appearances when hearing it) and [name_m]Atticus[/name_m] is wonderful.
[name_m]William[/name_m] [name_m]Hugh[/name_m]: This one is so dapper and regal. Definitely one of my favourites. [name_m]Hugh[/name_m] is just a name that goes really well with [name_m]William[/name_m], and [name_m]William[/name_m] is so timeless.
[name_m]Bruno[/name_m] [name_m]Alec[/name_m]: I really like [name_m]Bruno[/name_m], I’m not fond of [name_m]Alec[/name_m] (damned be [name_m]Alec[/name_m] [name_u]Baldwin[/name_u]) and I don’t necessarily think that those two names flow very well together. I mean, if you compare it to a name like [name_m]William[/name_m] [name_m]Hugh[/name_m] or [name_u]Asa[/name_u] [name_m]Nicholas[/name_m], I just don’t get the same feel like they’re just perfect for each other.
[name_u]Asa[/name_u] [name_m]Nicholas[/name_m]: [name_m]DON[/name_m]'T REPLACE [name_u]ASA[/name_u]!!! I love [name_u]Asa[/name_u] so much and while I also love [name_m]Cyril[/name_m], [name_u]Asa[/name_u] is just too good to be replaced. Especially when paired with [name_m]Nicholas[/name_m]. This is my favourite of your boys combinations.

I really, really love [name_f]Agnes[/name_f] [name_f]Eilidh[/name_f]! Oh my goodness, it’s perfect. I think both [name_f]Agnes[/name_f] and [name_f]Eilidh[/name_f] have niche loves here on Nameberry, but I adore both, so this is total perfection for me. I also love [name_f]Sybilla[/name_f] (although I’m not sure of the flow of [name_f]Sybilla[/name_f] [name_f]Amelia[/name_f]?). I like a lot of the names on your boys’ list–[name_u]Emmett[/name_u], [name_m]Atticus[/name_m], [name_m]Jack[/name_m], [name_m]Alec[/name_m], etc., but I’m not sure about the combos themselves. I do really love [name_u]Asa[/name_u] [name_m]Nicholas[/name_m] as a combo, though, and I think [name_m]Casimir[/name_m] [name_m]Jack[/name_m] works really well! I’m not sure I’d know what to do with [name_m]Casimer[/name_m]–it sort of seems trashy to me, but I’m so used to seeing [name_m]Casimir[/name_m] that I wouldn’t know what to do with it. [name_m]Casimir[/name_m] just looks right.

Thank you all! I know some of my combos are a bit off. They always are!

Really it’s because a) my middle names are entirely sentimental and the way they feel together, style-wise/association-wise is more important to me than the way they sound; hence [name_u]Emmett[/name_u] [name_m]Atticus[/name_m] [name_m]Even[/name_m] though I know [name_u]Emmett[/name_u] [name_m]Nicholas[/name_m] and [name_m]Bruno[/name_m] [name_m]Atticus[/name_m] flow much better, I don’t like them. I might just stop asking for opinions on my combos haha… since I know I’m the only one who gets it anyway!
