Sorry, but I agree with your husband. [name]Ivory[/name] is not a name. I absolutely [name]ADORE[/name] the rest of the names on your list ([name]Sylvie[/name], [name]Catalina[/name], and [name]Leonie[/name] in particular) and they will all serve your daughter much better later in life. [name]Ivory[/name] just sounds trendy, even tryndeigh.
Sorry, but I agree with your partner. [name]Ivory[/name] could be an intresting middle name, but I would avoid it as a first name.
If you like “I” names you could try the classics [name]Ingrid[/name] or [name]Iris[/name]…
Good [name]Luck[/name] and Congrats!
I can see where the appeal of [name]Ivory[/name] stems from but I’m afraid I must side with your husband in this one. [name]Ivory[/name] immediately brought to mind the poaching of elephants, which isn’t the best thing to think about when facing a little baby For what it’s worth, I adore [name]Thea[/name] and [name]Sylvie[/name]!
Good luck

I actually think it would be fine as a name, but I guess I’m in the minority here.
The name [name]Ebony[/name] is associated with black pride, so [name]Ivory[/name] is associated with… white pride? I think some people might get the wrong idea. I also think about poor Elephants
