if you had an ivy & evangeline (which i do not), would you feel like they were too close with the first syllable? like ivy & evie? & would you feel like a third daughter had to be like an av- name or something like that (i’m quite an OCD namer lol). thoughts?
I had both names on my list but wound up taking [name]Ivy[/name] off, because I thought [name]Ivy[/name] and [name]Evie[/name]. If you were going to go there, though, I wouldn’t make daughter number three and Av name. That would be way too matchy.
Hubs and I did the opposite. He wanted [name]Evangeline[/name] nn [name]Evie[/name], and I liked [name]Evie[/name] but didn’t want the long form. When I suggested [name]Ivy[/name], we both went all Twilight werewolf imprinting on it, so [name]Evie[/name] became a non-issue. In short, it was definitely an “either, or” for us
