Ivy Isobel vs Ivy Brielle

So we have our two final contenders! At least I hope they are our final two, lol.

We are trying to choose between these:

[name_f]Ivy[/name_f] [name_f]Isobel[/name_f]
[name_f]Ivy[/name_f] [name_f]Brielle[/name_f]

I like them both, so does my husband, hence we are a bit stuck. Which one do you guys think sounds/looks the best?

Thanks

I’m kinda stuck on the initials. IIS or IBS. Since Irritable Bowel Syndrome is usually shortened to IBS I will choose [name_f]Isobel[/name_f].

I love the sound of [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] [name_f]Brielle[/name_f] [name_m]Smith[/name_m], but the IBS (like the previous poster said) does throw me off a bit. I think I read in another one of your threads that [name_f]Isobel[/name_f] is a name from your family, so my pick would be [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] [name_f]Isobel[/name_f] [name_m]Smith[/name_m].

I agree with this.

I agree about the initials of IBS being not so desirable.
I do like [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] [name_f]Isobel[/name_f] a bit more too.

[name_f]Ivy[/name_f] [name_f]Isobel[/name_f] absolutely (even without the initial problem).

[name_f]Ivy[/name_f] [name_f]Isobel[/name_f]… [name_f]Lovely[/name_f]! [name_u]Love[/name_u] the [name_f]Isobel[/name_f] spelling too.

I should have mentioned that I prefer [name_f]Isobel[/name_f] over [name_f]Brielle[/name_f] anyway. The initial thing just caught my eye…

[name_f]Ivy[/name_f] [name_f]Isobel[/name_f], even without the initial thing.

Definitely [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] [name_f]Isobel[/name_f]. Much prettier.

Another vote for [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] [name_f]Isobel[/name_f].

[name_f]Ivy[/name_f] [name_f]Isobel[/name_f]! I love alliteration!

[name_f]Ivy[/name_f] [name_f]Isobel[/name_f]!!! So pretty!

[name_f]Ivy[/name_f] [name_f]Isobel[/name_f] - flows so beautifully!

Yeah. IBS is a problem. I don’t like the double Is though either.

I was going to suggest [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] Rielle but I’m not sure IRS is any better.
Find something else is my suggestion. Similar sounds:

[name_f]Ivy[/name_f] [name_f]Adele[/name_f]
[name_f]Ivy[/name_f] [name_f]Anabelle[/name_f]
[name_f]Ivy[/name_f] [name_u]Ariel[/name_u]
[name_f]Ivy[/name_f] [name_f]Christabel[/name_f]
[name_f]Ivy[/name_f] [name_f]Liesl[/name_f]
[name_f]Ivy[/name_f] [name_f]Hazel[/name_f]
[name_f]Ivy[/name_f] [name_f]Rachel[/name_f]
[name_f]Ivy[/name_f] [name_f]Mirabel[/name_f]

These all give you the -el sound you like at the end. I hope you find the perfect name!

[name_f]Ivy[/name_f] [name_f]Isobel[/name_f] it’s beautiful but then again I’m slightly biased ([name_f]Isobel[/name_f] is my favourite name ever :))

I [name_u]LOVE[/name_u] [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] [name_f]Isobel[/name_f]. I’m not a huge fan of the name [name_f]Isobel[/name_f] in general, but in this combo it is gorgeous. Sometimes alliteration is hit or miss, but in this case it is definitely adorable.

I think [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] [name_f]Isobel[/name_f] sounds really nice, I prefer the way it sounds to [name_f]Brielle[/name_f]. [name_f]Isobel[/name_f] is my first name, so I could be biased, but I do genuinely prefer it.

I love [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] [name_f]Isobel[/name_f]. Usually the double initials would put me off but I think this one flows really well

[name_f]Ivy[/name_f] [name_f]Isobel[/name_f] is gorgeous! Initials aside, this one would still have my vote.
