Izzy - unisex or nah?

I think it works as a unisex name. It reminds me of Ozzy. I can see it as a nickname for names like Issac Isidore and Isaiah.

Lol I forgot a rather important word

I think [name_u]Izzy[/name_u] can be considered unisex but not to the extent that it would achieve your goal of keeping people from making an assumption about your gender before meeting you.

Sorry for the confusion

It’s fine lol, that’s what I thought you meant

Where I live, [name_f]Isabella[/name_f] are usually just [name_u]Isa[/name_u].

[name_u]Izzy[/name_u] is not common at all, so I would definitely not be surprised if it were a boy. [name_u]Or[/name_u] an enby.

I do not know you, though.

Unisex. I’ve heard it used equally on Isabel/variations and also Isadores.

I think it’s unisex, but I agree with many others that I tend to think it leans feminine even though I know 2 male Izzy’s (one [name_u]Israel[/name_u] and one Isaac)! Not sure why I initially think female ! But maybe another baby boy [name_u]Izzy[/name_u] would change that

It feels much more feminine to me, but it wouldn’t seem out of place on a male. It’s definitely daring though, especially if it isn’t short for anything
