I’ve never posted before, but have been a lurker for some time now. I’m currently 5 months pg with our 5th baby, a girl. This will be our 3rd daughter. All four of my kids have middle names that begin with the letter J. This trend unintentionally occured when I became pg with my 3rd child. I gave my first 2 children middle names that began with J, not on purpose at all, just happened to be the names I liked. So with my 3rd, I figured it would be fitting to continue this pattern. Then came baby #4 and this “pattern” began to feel like a punishment, but fortunatley I fell in love with a name that fit my punish…er pattern. Now I find myself pg with our 5th baby and partially bald from yanking my hair out in frustration over this ridiculousness I have created! However, as ridiculous as I feel it is, I am compelled to keep going with the J middle name for this baby.
At this point, it seems as if I’ve heard all the J names there is to hear and not much is sticking out. I prefer uncommon names, tend to lean towards unisex/masculine sounding names , but also still enjoy girly sounding names. Also, the name does not have to possess the “J” sound, just has to begin with the letter.
J names I cannot use:
[name]Jayden[/name]
[name]Javier[/name]
[name]Jacob[/name]
[name]Jorja[/name]
J names on my list so far:
[name]Jamison[/name]
[name]June[/name]
[name]Joely[/name]
Jorah
[name]Jorie[/name]
[name]Josephine[/name]
I don’t have any first name settled on at this point, just looking for some fresh, new name ideas in the “J” department so I can begin building a name for this baby!
[name]Josephine[/name] is my favourite from your list so far. ^^

[name]Do[/name] you have the first name?
If its one syllable, I would go for [name]Josephine[/name] or [name]Juliet[/name].
If its two syllables, I would go for [name]Juliet[/name] or [name]Jessamine[/name].
If its three or more, I would go for [name]June[/name] or [name]Jane[/name].
From your list I really like [name]June[/name], it’s not a name you hear and it sounds delicate and girly. I also like [name]Josie[/name], [name]Jocelyn[/name], [name]Jade[/name], [name]Jewel[/name], and [name]Jubilee[/name].
From your original list I really like [name]June[/name] and [name]Josephine[/name], off the list [name]Juliet[/name] is a good girl J name that’s making a comeback. [name]Joy[/name] is also cute.
