Jack & Elliott Need Middle Names!

Hey everyone!

We’re expecting twins this [name]October[/name]!!! Two boys! We’re currently feelin’ the love for [name]Jack[/name] & [name]Elliott[/name]… but finding middle names has proved challenging. Our last name is Idle.

I’m drawn to word names for middles. My favorites are [name]Atlas[/name] and [name]Flint[/name]. However… neither of those go with the names we’ve chosen :confused:

Please, oh please, help us out!

[name]Jack[/name] ______ Idle

[name]Elliott[/name] ______ Idle

[name]Elliott[/name] [name]Atlas[/name] would be cool! I do agree that [name]Flint[/name] doesn’t sound good with [name]Jack[/name] or [name]Elliott[/name]. Are there any particular words that have special meaning to you? Maybe a place, virtue, animal, or element of nature you both love? That would be a place to start.

Some ideas off the top of my head:

[name]Jack[/name] [name]Emmet[/name] (giving him the tt from his brothers name)

[name]Elliott[/name] [name]James[/name] (giving him the ja from his brother name)

I love both [name]Jack[/name] and [name]Elliot[/name] and think they are great twins. I also love word middle names and I agree that [name]Elliot[/name] [name]Atlas[/name] flows fine. Here are some other names off the top of my head…

[name]Jack[/name] [name]Canyon[/name] Idle and [name]Elliott[/name] [name]Flynn[/name] Idle

OOOooo… what great ideas!

@agirlinred - So maybe [name]Elliott[/name] [name]Atlas[/name] is ok? [name]Merritt[/name] is a GREAT suggestion… but I don’t know… [name]Jack[/name] [name]Merritt[/name] Idle?

@gblondie - [name]How[/name] creative! I hadn’t thought of tying their names together in an understated way… you’ve got me thinking!

@onelove19 - [name]Jack[/name] [name]Frost[/name]? Hehe.

@momof374 - I [name]LOVE[/name] [name]Jack[/name] [name]Canyon[/name]! My maiden name is [name]Canaday[/name]… so kind of a nice connection.

Thanks all for your input!

Okay - so here’s what I’ve decided so far. My current favorites are [name]Jack[/name] [name]Canyon[/name] and [name]Elliott[/name] [name]Atlas[/name]. I’m still exploring… and kind of wondering about a three-syllable mn for [name]Jack[/name]…

haha, didn’t catch that but yeah, not so much!
