I need help I love [name_m]Jackson[/name_m] my husband loves [name_m]Jack[/name_m] but won’t do [name_m]Jackson[/name_m] do I go with [name_m]Jack[/name_m] or try to persuade him to do [name_u]Jensen[/name_u] or [name_m]Jackson[/name_m] ?? This is hard!
I adore [name_m]Jack[/name_m]. [name_m]Feel[/name_m] neutral about [name_m]Jackson[/name_m] and [name_u]Jensen[/name_u]. I love [name_m]Jax[/name_m], although I think it would just be a name I would call [name_m]Jack[/name_m] every so often. Personally for me, [name_m]Jackson[/name_m] downgrades [name_m]Jack[/name_m].
I love [name_m]Jack[/name_m] and [name_m]Jenson[/name_m], not a fan of [name_m]Jackson[/name_m]. [name_u]Jensen[/name_u] has been growing on me a lot lately and I think its really cute. Hubby could even get away with nicknaming [name_m]Jenson[/name_m] [name_m]Jack[/name_m], if it works for [name_m]John[/name_m] and [name_m]Jonathan[/name_m] then why not [name_u]Jensen[/name_u]? However maybe talk to Hubby, explain that you guys can call him [name_m]Jackson[/name_m] but use [name_m]Jack[/name_m] as a nickname or name. Compromise is important with names and I think using [name_m]Jackson[/name_m] and calling him [name_m]Jack[/name_m] would be perfect. However if hubby really doesn’t like [name_m]Jackson[/name_m], maybe some other [name_m]Jack[/name_m]… names?
[name_m]Jacob[/name_m]?
[name_m]Jack[/name_m] all the way! [name_m]Jackson[/name_m] and [name_u]Jensen[/name_u] are both last names and, personally, I’m not a fan of that naming style.
I like [name_m]Jack[/name_m] the best, but given that [name_m]Jack[/name_m] is part of [name_m]Jackson[/name_m], and he likes [name_m]Jack[/name_m] and you like [name_m]Jackson[/name_m], why not just use [name_m]Jackson[/name_m] with [name_m]Jack[/name_m] as the nickname? I feel like that’s the perfect compromise.
[name_m]Jack[/name_m] 100%! [name_m]Jackson[/name_m] feels tired and edging on dated. [name_u]Jensen[/name_u] is nice, but not my style.
[name_m]Jack[/name_m] or [name_u]Jensen[/name_u] for sure. I agree that [name_m]Jackson[/name_m] is becoming dated.
[name_u]Jensen[/name_u] is my favourite of those. It’s getting popular though - a colleague just named her son [name_u]Jensen[/name_u]!
[name_u]Jensen[/name_u]…
I would go with [name_m]Jack[/name_m]
[name_u]Jensen[/name_u] and [name_m]Jackson[/name_m] are strictly last names to me
Thanks ladies that helps a lot! Now we are deciding between [name_m]Jack[/name_m] and Mattis! Any opinions on Mattis vs. [name_m]Jack[/name_m] ??
My vote still goes to [name_m]Jack[/name_m].
I like [name_m]John[/name_m] with the NN [name_m]Jack[/name_m].
[name_m]Jack[/name_m] over Mattis for me too.
I like [name_m]Jack[/name_m] the best
I love [name_u]Jensen[/name_u]! I feel [name_m]Jack[/name_m] and [name_m]Jackson[/name_m] are overused and have become boring.
I adore just [name_m]Jack[/name_m]. I like [name_u]Jensen[/name_u] okay, but I’m not terribly keen on [name_m]Jackson[/name_m] at all, personally. I find it quite trendy, and I’m getting tired of hearing it (although not everyone is! I know a naughty little [name_m]Jackson[/name_m], and if I’d liked it before, I certainly don’t now, sorry!). I would go with [name_m]Jack[/name_m] or maybe [name_u]Jensen[/name_u], but if you could both agree to [name_m]Jackson[/name_m] and let him use [name_m]Jack[/name_m], it seems like a good solution, although maybe he dislikes [name_m]Jackson[/name_m] so much he wouldn’t want to go that route?
Good luck!
