Jack L. sound like Jackal?

We are considering the name [name]Jack[/name] [name]Lawrence[/name] [name]Garvin[/name], then it occurred to me that [name]Jack[/name] L. [name]Garvin[/name] sounds like Jackal. Is that a concern or am I over thinking this? All advise is greatly appreciated.

Yes, [name]Jack[/name] L. sounds like Jackal, when you ask someone that specifically. And yes, you are over-thinking it. Nobody is going to call him [name]Jack[/name] L.! You have nothing to worry about. And if they do, it’s unlikely that they would think of it sounding like jackal. And worst case scenario, if they do think that, so what? So his name and middle initial rhymes with jackal. All our names rhyme with something if we think hard enough. Relax…[name]Jack[/name] [name]Lawrence[/name] is a very nice name.

lol, I read the title and laughed because you’re right!

Sorry!

What about [name]Clarence[/name] or [name]Terrence[/name]?

My son is [name]Jack[/name] [name]Louis[/name], never even thought about it and he has never once been called [name]Jack[/name] L. If you’re last name started with L it could be a problem if there was another [name]Jack[/name] in his class and he became [name]Jack[/name] L but your son would be [name]Jack[/name] G so I think it is fine.

Once I said it out loud, yeah, it totally does. Personally, I wouldn’t consider that a deal breaker but it all depends on if it bothers you or not.

Thanks, happy to hear about [name]Jack[/name] [name]Louis[/name], Take Care

Yeah, it does sound like “jackel,” but I don’t think that’s the end of the world unless it really bothers you. If it bothers your son, he can always opt not to use his middle initial as part of his signature. “[name]Jack[/name] [name]Garvin[/name]” will suit him just as well.

It DOES sound like Jackel, but who would ever call him [name]Jack[/name] L. all in it’s own? He’d either be [name]Jack[/name], [name]Jack[/name] [name]Garvin[/name], [name]Jack[/name] [name]Lawrence[/name], or [name]Jack[/name] [name]Lawrence[/name] [name]Garvin[/name]. [name]Even[/name] if someone DID call him [name]Jack[/name] L. [name]Garvin[/name], your last name breaks it up a bit. Plus, I don’t think a little boy would mind having a “jackel” in his name - any boy I know would think it’s cool!

I ONLY think it would be a real problem if your last name started with an L, because then if there was ever another [name]Jack[/name] in his class, he would be known as “[name]Jack[/name] L.”

If you like it, go for it!! I think [name]Jack[/name] [name]Lawrence[/name] [name]Garvin[/name] is an excellent name!! I love how is sounds, how it flows, and how manly, sweet and interesting it all sounds together.

thank you for your encouraging words

It does a bit,but he would be called that so rarely I wouldn’t worry if I were you. It’s a handsome name
