Jackson Lucas or Silas Mason?

Helllllo berries!!! I was convinced on [name]Jackson[/name] but now starting to think about [name]Silas[/name] for our son! Due in [name]April[/name]! Any suggestions?

I prefer [name]Silas[/name], personally. But I would love to see [name]Silas[/name] [name]Jack[/name]/[name]Jack[/name] [name]Silas[/name]!

[name]Silas[/name] [name]Mason[/name] gets my vote! Much more uncommon, but still very hip, in my opinion. A great choice!

I’m with [name]Ash[/name]. I REALLY prefer [name]Jack[/name] to [name]Jackson[/name]. I can’t say why really, maybe it’s that [name]Jack[/name] is my ultimate favorite name for a boy and [name]Jackson[/name] is like a variation that somehow has incurred my wrath. Now that I’m thinking about it, I probably shouldn’t have tried to respond to this thread since I’m so overly biased. There really is nothing wrong with it in the end. :slight_smile: But anyway, I really do like [name]Silas[/name] a lot. [name]Silas[/name] [name]Mason[/name] is very nice and I think you should go for it. [name]Silas[/name] has some great namesakes too ([name]Silas[/name] Marner) and [name]Jackson[/name] has [name]Andrew[/name] [name]Jackson[/name] who has mostly gone down in history for sending all the Georgian Native Americans on the [name]Trail[/name] of Tears. [name]Silas[/name] is one of my top fave boy names. I like [name]Silas[/name] [name]Mason[/name] or [name]Silas[/name] [name]Jackson[/name].

Definitely [name]Silas[/name]! A classic name that sounds really “cool”, but not in a trying-too-hard type of way. [name]Jackson[/name] is overly trendy and common, in my opinion. Not a huge fan of [name]Mason[/name], but it sounds fine with [name]Silas[/name]. I like the idea of [name]Silas[/name] [name]Jack[/name], too.

Why not [name]Silas[/name] [name]Jackson[/name]? Or [name]Jackson[/name] [name]Silas[/name]? [name]Both[/name] are pretty great.

I’m partial to [name]Jackson[/name] [name]Lucas[/name] because of the dashing 3 year old [name]Jack[/name] [name]Lucas[/name] at the daycare I work at.
I also don’t like [name]Silas[/name], and due to the negative TVD reference it’s ehhh.
