Jacoby pronounciation?

I pronounce it like [name]JACK[/name]-A-[name]BEE[/name] but I started wondering if maybe I’m pronouncing it wrong and it should sound like JA-[name]COBE[/name]-EE?
I really like the sound of the name though. Thoughts?

I thought it was juh-co-bee. That’s how I’d pronounce it anyways.

I say juh-CO-bee

The lead singer of Papa Roach is [name]Jacoby[/name] (it might be [name]Jacobi[/name] but either way) and he pronounces his name jah-COH-bee

It’s how I’ve always said it too. I think it’s handsome.

[name]Jacoby[/name] [name]Jones[/name] is the only one I’ve ever heard of, but I like it. I think you have to have a last name that really goes with it though (like [name]Jones[/name]), otherwise it could be too cumbersome. And I pronounce it like everyone else – juh-[name]COE[/name]-bee.

In [name]Princess[/name] Diaries 2 there’s a character whose last name is [name]Jacoby[/name] (his FN is [name]Andrew[/name]) and it’s pronounced jack-uh-bee so that’s how I say it.

[name]Jacoby[/name] Ellsbury from the [name]Red[/name] Sox pronounces it juh-coh-bee so I say it that way.

I know someone who’s middle name is [name]Jacoba[/name]- prn. ja-[name]COE[/name]-ba, so i always said [name]Jacoby[/name] like ja-[name]COE[/name]-bee

I know a kid named [name]Jacoby[/name], and he pronounces it Juh-co-bee. Random side note: I also knew some one whose last name was prononced like this, but i forgot how it was spelled

[name]Jacoby[/name]/[name]Jacobi[/name] the last name is usually juh-KOH-bee.

I would instinctively say [name]JAKE[/name]-oh-bee, but there was a local law firm commercial for [name]Jacoby[/name] & Meyers and they pronounced it jah-[name]COE[/name]-bee

I’ve heard it pronounced [name]Jack[/name]-uh-bee, [name]Jacob[/name]-ee, and Juh-koh-bee. I usually pronounce it Juh-koh-bee.

I have only heard it pronounced Juh-koh-bee

I pn it juh-co-bee. REALLY like this name, btw!

I know a 4 year old named [name]Jacobi[/name] whose name is pronounced “Juh-CO-bee” so that’s how I pron. it.

Juh-COH-bee

I would pronounce it YA-coe-bee because that’s how I heard it once, but other suggestions definitely make more sense.

I know a [name]Jacoby[/name], and he pronounces is Juh-Koh-[name]Bee[/name].

I know 100% that is is pronounced Juh-coe-bee. I know several people with this as their surname.

I’ve always thought it was pronounced [name]Jack[/name]-oh-bee, but I’ve never met anyone named it or even heard it said.
