Thinking about [name_m]Jacques[/name_m] or [name_m]Joshua[/name_m] for a third son due next month.
Older brothers are [name_m]Lachlan[/name_m] and [name_m]Hugo[/name_m]
So…
[name_m]Lachlan[/name_m], [name_m]Hugo[/name_m] and [name_m]Joshua[/name_m]
[name_m]Lachlan[/name_m], [name_m]Hugo[/name_m] and [name_m]Jacques[/name_m]
Which do you prefer? And is [name_m]Jacques[/name_m] too confusing to pronounce?
I like [name_m]Joshua[/name_m]. It’s classic and timeless but it also depends where you are as in [name_u]England[/name_u] [name_m]Joshua[/name_m] is extremely popular!
[name_m]Jacques[/name_m] is my vote! It matches bros the best because of its literary connections and international appeal.
Pronunciation difficulty probably depends where you are but I could do it on sight and I’m American. Also, just about any name is going to be mispronounced sometimes. I don’t think it’s going to be overly so with [name_m]Jacques[/name_m].
[name_m]Jacques[/name_m] is my favourite, and I think it’s familiar enough that it wouldn’t be too hard to pronounce, but I think [name_m]Joshua[/name_m] works better with [name_m]Lachlan[/name_m] and [name_m]Hugo[/name_m]! I’d expect a [name_m]Jacques[/name_m] to have siblings with [name_u]French[/name_u] names as well.
[name_m]Joshua[/name_m] is handsome, outdoorsy and rugged I think the overall feel of [name_m]Joshua[/name_m] works very well with [name_m]Lachlan[/name_m] + [name_m]Hugo[/name_m].
