I’ve really been crushing on [name_f]Jade[/name_f] lately, and I’m thinking about adding it to my list. I like that it still feels a bit fresh for me, but also has that early aughts (2000s) feel that I really love!
What are your thoughts on the name [name_f]Jade[/name_f]? Is [name_f]Jayde[/name_f] (honour name for a friend who passed in this spelling) better?

Jade is nice! In fact, it was the name of my first foreign friend (we met in [name_f]Ikea[/name_f] when we were 5)
It has a neat sound, it’s simple but not plain.
I much prefer [name_f]Jade[/name_f] spelling.

I like that [name_f]Jade[/name_f] has a simple, no nonsense feel to it while also being luxurious due to the gemstone.
I personally prefer [name_f]Jade[/name_f] but if you want to honor your friend [name_f]Jayde[/name_f] works well too.

It does feel 2000s, but still fresh enough. It has a really cool feel - to me a [name_f]Jade[/name_f] is sweet, kind, and classy! I think of a fashionable girl who wears long skirts and bold lipstick
I prefer [name_f]Jade[/name_f] to [name_f]Jayde[/name_f], I think the connection to the gemstone and the green colour is lovely and it kind of goes away when spelling it differently.

Jade is so pretty! It’s been growing on me recently. I prefer the [name_f]Jade[/name_f] spelling to the [name_f]Jayde[/name_f] spelling, but if you want to honor your friend, I think that spelling with the Y would be lovely!

Jade is spunky and playful, and also beautiful (especially with the gem connection.) I like it! I prefer [name_f]Jade[/name_f] over [name_f]Jayde[/name_f], but if you want to use the spelling with the “y” to honour your friend that makes sense.

I love [name_f]Jade[/name_f]! I think [name_f]Jade[/name_f] without the y is better, and still works as an honor name.
I quite like [name_f]Jade[/name_f]! It’s distinctive – familiar, but not common. But the best part is that it would be super easy for people to pronounce and spell!
Stickler for spelling so to me [name_f]Jade[/name_f] is right.
I like [name_f]Jade[/name_f]. I think of [name_f]Jade[/name_f] [name_u]Jagger[/name_u] and of being jaded, but I still like it.
I love [name_f]Jade[/name_f]! It feels so cool and fresh, and simultaneously sweet and bad@ss. I personally prefer the [name_f]Jade[/name_f] spelling, I think it looks sharper and more direct. But, if [name_f]Jayde[/name_f] is an honor name, I think it works as well.
I have always liked [name_f]Jade[/name_f]. I like [name_f]Jada[/name_f] too.
Jade is one of my long-time favorites! Sleek, short and modern, I chose it as my pretend middle name! It would be a top contender if I could use a one-syllable name for sure. It’s also nice because most people have heard the name, but it doesn’t seem to be super widely used! I prefer [name_f]Jade[/name_f], but [name_f]Jayde[/name_f] makes sense, too!
I much prefer the [name_f]Jade[/name_f] spelling, but if [name_f]Jayde[/name_f] is an honour name, I would use that.
A very sassy, sweet name. Reminds of [name_f]Jade[/name_f] from Victorious.
For me I feel like it’s dated because as you say it’s so nineties/naughties like [name_f]Crystal[/name_f], [name_f]Amber[/name_f], [name_f]Britney[/name_f], [name_f]Siobhan[/name_f], [name_u]Kelly[/name_u] etc.
30 something [name_f]Jade[/name_f] here who grew up in the southern US. Despite me as a shy child mumbling my name and people always thinking it was [name_f]Jane[/name_f] and me never correcting them, I like my name alright. The fact that [name_f]Jade[/name_f] is a semiprecious (not precious) stone always kinda irked me, but that’s probably just my weirdness.
