I like both but [name_m]John[/name_m] is the more surprising choice today.

I like them both, but I dated a [name_u]James[/name_u] once whose ego was larger than the entire cosmos, so that is a personal bummer. :slight_smile:

I probably like them about equally, but I think [name_m]John[/name_m] sounds much fresher for a baby born today. I’m sick of [name_u]James[/name_u], especially as a middle name.

I like [name_u]James[/name_u] a lot, but I really like [name_m]John[/name_m] as a double name, such as [name_m]John[/name_m] [name_m]Patrick[/name_m].

[name_u]James[/name_u] is my choice, [name_m]John[/name_m] would be more unexpected but it sounds very heavy and stiff to me
