I don’t know why they would be too close other than the fact that the J and G make the same sound in the names. Otherwise, there’s no similarity. I don’t think they’re too close.

Yes, I think they are too close. If you like [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] especially for the possible nicknames such as [name_f]Vivi[/name_f] or [name_f]Evie[/name_f], maybe another name such as [name_f]Vivienne[/name_f] or [name_f]Evelina[/name_f] would appeal?

I definitely don’t see how they’re too close. Maybe if [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] decides to go by [name_f]Gen[/name_f]/Jen but they sound quite distinct to me.

Huh, might be going against what everyone else is saying but I think it’s totally fine. I don’t actually see the issue at all!

On the one hand the sounds are very similar and on the other i think the styles are very mismatched so no i wouldn’t use them as sister names
