Which do you prefer and why?
[name_f]Jane[/name_f]! One of my favorite names. Both are pretty, but I like the feel of [name_f]Jane[/name_f] more- classic, but not as expected today, and makes me think of old-children’s books.
[name_f]Jade[/name_f]! [name_f]Jane[/name_f] just isn’t for me, can’t really explain why
[name_f]Jane[/name_f] for sure! I find it more charming and elegant
[name_f]Jade[/name_f], I find [name_f]Jane[/name_f] too plain of a name.
I prefer [name_f]Jane[/name_f] for the sweet simplicity and literary vibe!!
[name_f]Jane[/name_f]
It’s a family name (my middle) feels elegant and simplistic very understated. [name_u]Love[/name_u] [name_f]Jane[/name_f]. Something like [name_f]Jane[/name_f] [name_f]Primrose[/name_f] would be lush
[name_f]Jane[/name_f] 100%!
I really like both, but as a first name I have to say [name_f]Jane[/name_f] because I think the nickname [name_f]Janie[/name_f] is adorable!
As a middle name, they’re tied!
Jane 100%!!! It’s classic, simple, but not overused. This is such a hearty name, and it sounds princess-y and down to earth at the same time. Jade sounds more modern and less romantic to me. Also just less like a name.
[name_f]Jade[/name_f] is one of my favorites
[name_f]Jane[/name_f]! They’re not so plain in person and it’s a nice name that isn’t really used anymore. Would prefer to meet a young [name_f]Jane[/name_f] rather than a young [name_f]Jade[/name_f].
All the Jade’s I’ve known have been well I don’t really have any good words to describe them. The name just doesn’t do it for me.
[name_f]Jade[/name_f]! [name_f]Jane[/name_f] feels… well sort of plain haha
[name_f]Jade[/name_f]! I find it more interesting.
[name_f]Jane[/name_f].
I find [name_f]Jane[/name_f] more classic, and [name_f]Jade[/name_f] more trendy, and I prefer classic.
[name_f]Jane[/name_f]
I never liked [name_f]Jade[/name_f], it sounds to me like [name_f]Jane[/name_f] with a stuffy nose
[name_f]Jade[/name_f] feels more youthful and wearable to me//is something I would want to be called. [name_f]Jane[/name_f] could work on someone of any age but rings older to me, and I don’t think I would want to be called [name_f]Jane[/name_f] for some reason
[name_f]Jane[/name_f] without a doubt. Beautiful, traditional, lots of wonderful history including [name_f]Jane[/name_f] [name_u]Austen[/name_u]. A [name_f]Jane[/name_f] can be or do anything.
[name_f]Jade[/name_f] is a trendy over-used 80s, 90s name to me. A pretty colour, but rather jaded I’m afraid.
Jade 100%. I love Jane for others but though I still like it and the history behind, something just does not do it for me.
[name_f]Jane[/name_f] definitely. Overused as a filler middle name but still surprising and interesting as to see it as a first name.
I’d love to meet a little [name_f]Jane[/name_f]
