Really really thinking of changing my name to this. [name_u]Ive[/name_u] been trying the nicknames Jaspie and [name_u]Perry[/name_u] for it aswell. I already get Jas/Jazz and JJ as a [name_f]Jasmine[/name_f] so would continue them aswell.
What are your thoughts on the name. Thanks

I think [name_u]Jasper[/name_u] is a wonderful name! It’d age well, it’s earthy and bright, and it’s got some really lovely nicknames, as you mentioned. I think [name_u]Jasper[/name_u] is an all-around great pick. 
I love [name_u]Jasper[/name_u] - sleek, stylish but solid too. It’s one I’ve liked for a long time

I agree that it’s both a sleek and earthy name - it makes me think of the wind rustling through leaves. I also think the nn [name_u]Perry[/name_u] is absolutely lovely and has an approachable, friendly quality to it that [name_u]Jasper[/name_u] on its own doesn’t conjure for me. The only remotely negative association I can think of with [name_u]Jasper[/name_u] is that it’s the name of one of the henchmen from 101 Dalmatians - but I can’t imagine that would be many people’s first thought on hearing the name.

[name_u]Jasper[/name_u] is an awesome name in my opinion. We names our pup [name_u]Jasper[/name_u] and the nicknames are endless. 100% got my vote
