[name_u]Jay[/name_u] [name_u]Michael[/name_u] is my favorite name. However, after the passing of a good friend, what do you think of [name_u]Jay[/name_u] [name_u]Michael[/name_u]-[name_m]Mark[/name_m]? Too much?
I like it and I think that it is a great way to honor your friend!
I don’t think it’s too much… I do think a “better flow” might be [name_u]Michael[/name_u] [name_u]Jay[/name_u] [name_m]Mark[/name_m]… but that’s just my preference.
I think two middle names is fine, but I wouldn’t hyphenate any of them.
I wonder if [name_m]Mark[/name_m] will get left off since its at the end. [name_f]Do[/name_f] you like [name_u]Jay[/name_u] [name_m]Mark[/name_m] or [name_u]James[/name_u] “[name_u]Jay[/name_u]” [name_m]Mark[/name_m]?
I think the hyphenated middle name is confusing and will be an administrative hassle for him. I’d go with [name_u]Jay[/name_u] [name_u]Michael[/name_u] personally. [name_f]Else[/name_f] if you really want to name him after your friend go with [name_u]Jay[/name_u] [name_m]Mark[/name_m], though somehow that starts to sound bird-like.
I think the hyphenating of the middle is awkward and unnecessary. [name_m]Just[/name_m] use two middle names. [name_f]My[/name_f] children have two middle names and I’ve had no problems with it so far.
And as a bonus both your middle names start with the same letter so can use standard 3 initials and neither name is really left out.
It works. Why not two middles, though?
I’d just use two middle names -[name_u]Jay[/name_u] [name_u]Michael[/name_u] [name_m]Mark[/name_m] without the hyphen:)

I agree with this
I honestly don’t know why I said hyphenate. Like I really just meant having two middle names. I think I was thinking about how people hyphenate last names. Who knows. [name_f]Glad[/name_f] people don’t think the two middle names together is too much!
