Jemima Milly?

Is the alliteration cute or a mouthful?

[name_f]Milly[/name_f] is my husband’s grandmother’s name. I think its a cute name and like that it has meaning, but don’t think it sounds great with the first name we’ve chosen. What do you think?

[name_f]Jemima[/name_f] [name_f]Milly[/name_f] doesn’t work too well, sorry. Maybe [name_f]Jemima[/name_f] [name_f]Romilly[/name_f] or [name_f]Jemima[/name_f] [name_f]Emily[/name_f] to break up the Ms a bit? Still M-heavy but better than just [name_f]Milly[/name_f].

I tend to like repeating sounds, so I don’t think it’s too many Ms. Sounds like a movie star name to me!

I love bonfireazalea’s suggestion of [name_f]Jemima[/name_f] [name_f]Romilly[/name_f]!

[name_m]How[/name_m]'s this for a novel thought: name her [name_f]Jemima[/name_f], and call her [name_f]Milly[/name_f] as a nickname?

The names do go well together in terms of style, in theory, but it really is too many M’s, IMHO. [name_f]Imagine[/name_f] yourself yelling it out the backdoor without stumbling over it. I hesitate to say it, though, because I love the idea of honoring someone with the middle name if possible…hence the nickname suggestion. HTH!

I think it’s adorable and definitely not too much of a mouthful!

Too many ‘m’ sounds for me sorry!

I think [name_f]Jemima[/name_f] [name_f]Milly[/name_f] is lovely to be honest! I dont see a problem with the flow at all and personally I think the alliteration is helpful to make it sound more youthful and fun, as [name_f]Jemima[/name_f] feels very stiff and strict with some middle names, like say, [name_f]Catherine[/name_f].

Too many M’s, but I love [name_f]Milly[/name_f] [name_f]Jemima[/name_f]. The m’s do t run together.
