I recently conned DH into talking about another child and baby names recently and wanted him to suggest some names, and one he suggested really stood out; [name_f]Jemima[/name_f]!
It has such a great vintage yet spunky vibe, and i really like the possible nn of [name_u]Jem[/name_u].
So what do you think of the name and any middle name ideas? I’m liking [name_f]Jemima[/name_f] [name_f]Violet[/name_f]

I’m a [name_f]Jemima[/name_f] from Australia! 
[name_m]Just[/name_m] to let you know, I [name_f]LOVE[/name_f] my name. I get nothing but compliments; I’m always the only one (none of this [name_f]Jemima[/name_f] S. stuff); people always know how to pronounce/spell it; it’s memorable.
My middle name is [name_f]Frances[/name_f], just so you know (a family name). Also, if you’re interested, my nicknames include [name_u]Jem[/name_u] (at school), [name_f]Jemi[/name_f] (at home), [name_m]Jam[/name_m] (one friend started calling me that and it stuck!), [name_f]Mima[/name_f] (my grandma), Mimey (aunts and uncles).
[name_f]Jemima[/name_f] [name_f]Violet[/name_f] is really lovely!

I love [name_f]Jemima[/name_f]! I used to dream that was my name when I was young, watching Play School (yes, another Aussie). I think it needs a short mn though, with so many syllables and the repetitive sound at the end.

I love [name_f]Jemima[/name_f], however I prefer the nickname [name_f]Mimi[/name_f] to [name_u]Jem[/name_u] (see that more as a boy’s nickname for [name_u]James[/name_u] or [name_m]Jeremy[/name_m]), but that’s just me! My fave combo would be [name_f]Jemima[/name_f] [name_f]Sophie[/name_f], but [name_f]Violet[/name_f] and [name_f]Hazel[/name_f] are also very pretty!
I prefer Jemina; never liked the “my muh” in [name_f]Jemima[/name_f]
